I liked the three beds, we all got one for ourselves, a little air conditioning would have been nice though

Smoke smell in room, no AC, very old mattress, Unsafe doors eith proper lock, shower head at 5ft height..owners have to at sompoint say okay we have to fix this place. Pictures online will not do the judgment

Great for what you need

Well, I don't know what to say, I think it is what it is, considering what is obtainable generally in Whitehorse. The mattress was so uncomfortable that sound sleep was impossible - I woke up with a body ache after the first night. No AC, and the 1970 tiny table fan could not help but blow hot. The quality of the bathroom is nothing to write home about - I don't know how to describe it. The duvet was stained with mud at multiple locations, and they just covered it up with a clean sheet. I just had to cut my trip short and check out earlier than planned. Note, the cost is about $187 per night

My biggest complaint is that for a northern hotel they don't have adequate window coverings to keep out the midnight sun. The light coming through the curtains made it impossible to get a full nights sleep. Stinks of stale cigarette smoke which they try to cover with daily spraying of air freshener. Thin walls making it rather noisy. Not suitable for a light sleeper.

Just all right

Bathroom tub had black mold growing and the wallpaper and paint around the tub is peeling off and getting everywhere. Area around the hotel is not very safe.

The hotel was pretty central albeit very old. Service was fine, housekeeping was available upon request. Overall a comfortable place to lay uour head at night. But there were only a couple of power/wall sockets available in the room. So will require some finessing if there's more than one person in your party. Also the walls and ceiling are paper thin. The guests above us were incredibly heavy footed so just be mindful of that.

Good place to stay

Upon arrival there were several people tweaking right outside the hotel entrance. I was walking into the hotel with my two younger children when a man that was tweaking advised me not to stay there. Told me that he could not let a family with such young children stay there. Said there are bed bugs and that it is not safe for us. Obviously we did not stay there after this warning. Lady working front desk was confused why we did not want to stay there and when why we wanted our security deposit back.

Pulling a trailer. No parking. Need to park 2 blocks away. Would definitely not stay again. On checking in they charged credit card even though I paid Expedia.

We were unable to stay do to no parking for our vehicles. Very small parking lot. No room for RVs or trailers.

One word! Bad hotel condition.

I booked this hotel because of my stay at their Prince George hotel. The staff on duty was nice and the room was clean but the condition of the overall hotel could use a little refresh. Also if you are traveling with a pet definitely confirm their fees. Because I paid $15 per pet in Prince George I thought that would apply here. I have two small dogs and I paid $30 per dog for a total of $60 in Whitehorse (Canadian dollar). My dogs stay cost pretty much as mine.

Building is in awful shape. Smelled of weed in the hallways. Bed felt like it was a 25yr old spring mattress and was uneven(not a flat bed) lol… the toiletries in bathroom were used/opened bottles. Parking is trash. Like 12 spots in front… then rest in back, and u half to walk around the entire building with ur stuff. Insane. The price was insane for what I got, I should’ve slept in my truck. Never again.

It’s the cheapest hotel in town but still over $100 a night so I expect it to be cleaner, it was mainly the bathroom that was a bit gross; questionable hair on the toilet seat and old tooth paste on the counter, etc. Most annoying thing though was that the shower head was almost a whole head shorter than me, I’m 5ft 10”, tall but not tall enough that I should have this problem, so I had to do some uncomfortable backbending to wash my hair properly. I will say that I love that they have laminated wood floor instead of the gross carpet I’m used to.

This was excellent value. Surprisingly clean and comfortable for the price.
