Its not our first time here, and won't our last. The staff are friendly and they accommodated our request, again. The breakfast and service are prompt and fresh/hot. Its a dated hotel, but it is worth checking it out.

The room, staff and complimentary breakfast was fantastic! We had an issue with parking and the lit being completely covered in ice. We had an accident on property in the parking lot and 2 we fell on the ice. One guest has a concussion from hitting her head and both of us are full of bruises and pain from the fall. The management said they email Expedia explaining the situation and we should expect to have some kind of refund for the accident and pain caused. The team at HoJo was very kind, thoughtful and responsive. I look forward to hearing from you.

The hotel was older and in average condition. It was close to everything that my wife and I had to do. The hot breakfast was great and the staff were very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable

We stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Winnipeg West from April 9 to 11. The staff were friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was good, better than what you typically get at most hotels. Unfortunately, we had two major issues that significantly impacted our stay. First, the hallways had a strong smell of cigarette smoke that made its way into our room, which was very unpleasant. Second, on our third night, there was a serious disturbance in the hallway involving what appeared to be a domestic dispute. It escalated into what sounded like physical violence and continued into the early morning hours in a nearby room. This situation kept my family up for much of the night. When I looked through the peephole, security was present in the hallway but did not appear to take any action. When I raised the concern the next morning, the front desk staff indicated they were unaware of the incident. This lack of response to a situation involving guest safety was extremely concerning. Due to this experience, we will not be staying here again.

Noticed a big change from our last stay here - starting to look pretty beat up. Strong smells in the hallways and the room had a strong scent of deodorizer or something you’d use to cover up a smell - was very overpowering and made me very stuffed up when we were in the room. Did not exactly feel very safe this time around - some characters lurking around the parking lot and close to the entrance. Staff were great, breakfast was great. Would likely stay again.

The rooms were modern and clean. Staff was very helpful and polite. The free breakfast was good, and was delivered to our room.

Our room was more like a motel. It was off the main building, which made it difficult for my wife and sister(both have walking disabilities) to travel over for breakfast. Our rooms bathroom was not very clean. Hair in the tub and around the floor. Neighbors for 3 nights were very loud and even banged on our door through the night, causing concern for our safety. The staff was the best part of this stay. They were very friendly and their breakfast was very good.

The hotel is dated and could use renovations but it was clean. Rooms are not sound proof so you can hear activity in the rooms beside you (not that, get your mind out of the gutter) Liked the text if you need anything feature.
