We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a very disappointing experience. The staff was extremely unprofessional, and the room felt dirty and dusty throughout our stay. It was unpleasant even to take off our shoes and walk around the room in slippers. We also noticed bugs running around the room. Everything felt old, poorly maintained, and unclean. The hotel markets itself as a five-star property, but in our opinion it doesn’t come close to that standard. Our stay was very uncomfortable and left a very negative impression overall. Usually we do not write negative reviews but this time it was impossible not do it. Never recommend to anyone.

The room was spotless and with a king bed, we found the room some what small. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is in the city center and we enjoyed strolling the streets of Lille. I would highly recommend this hotel in Lille.

Beautiful and unique property. Wonderful staff and comfortable beds.

The pool and the Spa treatment were great. It was a new experience having the sauna in a private room away from the Spa area. I had a really enjoyable stay. Staff and the restaurant food was pleasant. I really enjoyed the cognac collection at the bar. Loved the artwork on the premises. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes somewhere quiet to getaway for a few days.

Nice room but a bit awkward in the old part of the building. Lovely decor hotel and ambience. Would have liked breakfast included for the price.

Beautiful hotel and great staff. The food was excellent and the architecture and atmosphere of the building was amazing- a true historic building.

Everything was of a very high standard

Difficult to find as a few roads were blocked, once there all good. Reception was prompt and efficient, car was valet parked, escorted to room and room itself was excellent. In the old building, lots of history. Had a coffe in the atrium bar excellent.

Wonderful experience all around!

This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Europe! When they say five stars, they mean it!!! As soon as we walked into the hotel, we were warmly greeted. The staff is exemplary and immediately makes you feel like a valued guest! The gentleman checking us walked us to our room, turned on the lights, and showed us some of the amenities on our way to our room. The room is so comfortable and beautiful! Even the room coffee and filtered water are wonderful details that exceed any other hotel! The architecture is a masterpiece as they retro fit this luxury hotel into an existing building. The art in the hallways, the centered lounge, and spa are so classy and chic! I’m thankful that I got to rest here after three tiring days of exploring Christmas Markets in Belgium and Germany. This hotel sets the gold standard!

Very quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely. We enjoyed the repurposed property with all it's historic quirks and beautiful details. My only complaint is to add and improve the lighting in the bathroom.

Absolutely perfect in every way. This hotel is in a great location, it’s beautiful and it is steep in history. Good value for the price.Highly recommend.

This was our 2nd stay for the Braderie and the hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and all very stylish. The service however was bad. The maid left our room completely unlocked 3 times. We alerted reception but each day had to request refreshed glasses/mugs and to lock the room. I met the maid and asked her and after that she left the full set of skeleton keys for the hotel in our unlocked door. The bar manager was aloof and too busy chatting with his colleague to serve anyone promptly. A few other guests complained. The night manager was gracious and pleasant clearly properly trained to work in hospitality and comped us breakfast and a few other things so all ok in the end We paid up the night before we left. On leaving 3 grown men at reception watched idly whilst we made 3 trips to our car - pretty poor. And if you are going to speak critically about your customers on earshot make sure they don't speak french. Not what I would expect from a Marriott

Outstanding 5 star hotel conveniently located in central Lille. Top class service from staff. Beautiful, spacious interior. Highly recommended.

It was lovely from outside but quite old and needed attention inside. Reception staff great but bad staff very slow and inattentive. Pool was very dingy and dark and very noisy filtration or water system. Steam room smelt musty.
