I stayed with 2 of my daughters. The hotel was amazing, staff very welcoming, space in the room was great. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view over the bridges which was excellent day and night. My girls loved the pool. We will definitely stay again!

Lovely room with n actual real view! of Newcastle land marks ie Tyne and swing bridges and along the quayside.

Everything was perfect apart from the pillows.... (for me) It certainly doesn't stop me from booking another night away at the Hilton.

Amazing service at the hotel, it is situated on a steep hill, if you are travelling from Quayside to the hotel across the red small swing bridge. Hotel room was a little outdated with cracked bathroom tiles, chipped bath and the sheer curtain was a little dirty at the bottom, lampshade was a little dirty too. But staff was so helpful when needing anything, and they did text message when getting into the room to make sure everything was ok.

Great hotel with easy access to the centre

Check in was good, however the reception does not accept contactless or Apple Pay, seems very odd. I had to locate my physical card. Hotel rooms need modernization. Breakfast catered for my Ceoliac disease. We didn’t use the pool or the gym.

Stayed for one night enroute to Edinburgh. Room was very clean and with a spectacular view of the river and bridges. Looses a star, as I feel the parking charge is an unnecessary added cost.

Everything was perfect but the shower is 358 was full of mould needs a good bleach

Asked the girl at the front desk for breakfast recommendations in the area….she said she didn’t know. Not only was she local and didn’t know…she didn’t recommend the hotels own breakfast. She couldn’t be bothered.

Excellent car parking, bar area and staff. Pool was good, food was ok. Room for a deluxe room was very very tired, marked walls, furniture was damaged, old fashioned bathroom, no robes or water which I thought came with a deluxe room, nice view of the river though the windows were very dirty . The hotel we have heard is being renovated which will help so much, it definitely needs it in some of the rooms.

Only bad thing was the pillows are not the best. Premier inn beds and pillows are better and a lot cheaper to stay

A pleasant stay

Room was a little tired and not what the website images suggested. The temperature control was stuck at 25deg which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was good though.

The room had lots of cowebs and not that clean. The air conditioning was very very noisy. Did not get any sleep

Lovely stay. Everything as expected for Hilton. Disappointed with room and poor condition of furniture. Needs an update. This was a delux room.
