Great place to stay and facilities. Very quiet given how close to Newcastle.

Wonderful staff! Especially the lady who delivered room service to two slightly drunken girls at midnight. Quite disappointed that there was no fridge. Also, the bed was really uncomfortable. Not the kind of stay we’re used to at the Hilton!

Various fixtures and fittings loose in room, including shower curtain rail that swung about. Ancient air conditioning controls that were difficult to figure out properly despite a helpful sign. Definitely not what I expected of the Hilton, and definitely not worth the £112.50 per person that we paid. Most off the staff were friendly and helpful, but we got asked if we wanted a coffee at breakfast, my friend said yes and then we waited and waited, only to then realise that coffee is actually obtained at a self-service machine (we weren't told this). Breakfast itself was decent and filling.

The hotel is just across the Tyne from the Quayside and very close to both the Sage and the Baltic. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again when up in Newcastle. Will definitely stay here again when up in the Nirth East

Unfortunately the parking situation for the hotel was not highlighted. Our vehicle was too tall and the alternative parking was not ideal for security. We elected not to stay.

Fridge ripped out of the room compelling patrons to spend money buying cold drinks from the hotel . A deliberate act of coercion Inhumane and despicable Ugly greedy capitalism serving the fat cats

I stayed with 2 of my daughters. The hotel was amazing, staff very welcoming, space in the room was great. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view over the bridges which was excellent day and night. My girls loved the pool. We will definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect apart from the pillows.... (for me) It certainly doesn't stop me from booking another night away at the Hilton.

Amazing service at the hotel, it is situated on a steep hill, if you are travelling from Quayside to the hotel across the red small swing bridge. Hotel room was a little outdated with cracked bathroom tiles, chipped bath and the sheer curtain was a little dirty at the bottom, lampshade was a little dirty too. But staff was so helpful when needing anything, and they did text message when getting into the room to make sure everything was ok.

Check in was good, however the reception does not accept contactless or Apple Pay, seems very odd. I had to locate my physical card. Hotel rooms need modernization. Breakfast catered for my Ceoliac disease. We didn’t use the pool or the gym.

Stayed for one night enroute to Edinburgh. Room was very clean and with a spectacular view of the river and bridges. Looses a star, as I feel the parking charge is an unnecessary added cost.

Asked the girl at the front desk for breakfast recommendations in the area….she said she didn’t know. Not only was she local and didn’t know…she didn’t recommend the hotels own breakfast. She couldn’t be bothered.
