Nice reasonably priced hotel very close to the Place Jaude (in effect the centre of Clermont-Ferrand), but in a fairly quiet street. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice breakfast.

Property was centrally located in walking distance of the shopping area and sites. As a result throughout the night lots of young people returning from a night on the town made sleeping a bit of a challenge. Our balcony thank goodness on the second floor he no lock on it. Parkade was very interesting, made only for smaller vehicles it was a very tight squeeze to get through the gate and then up a very steep slope to the parking stalls (with our rental we ended up having to take two stalls).

Easy to get to by car. Offers parking. Walkable to city sites and multiple dining option.

It was very central, near the Cathedral in a pleasant location with secure parking.

There are a lot of external renovations going on at The Kyriad atm To the extent that a couple of workmen were outside our bedroom window whilst we were still in bed !! The rooms are very small and dated as are the bathrooms

It Was being refurbished but My room was excellent & staff wonderful.

Property was good BUT after a couple of days of hot rooms while on our travels we specifically booked this hotel/room which said it had a/c. It didn't, just hot air as it was supposedly still winter! Had to try sleeping with the windows open and city noise! Staff were not sympathic.

Everything was perfect except towels which are very cheap quality like 1 star hotel. Management should change to a better quality conform to 3 stars hotel.

The hotel is very old. Parking site is horrible; dark and you won’t feel safe. Very narrow for car to go through. 15 euros for one night. I booked there for the EV car charging but all charging station were full. The hotel elevator is old. You can see through the door when it goes up. The building is old. I don’t understand how can they charge so high price for this kind condition

The standard double room was very small, not even able to open our luggage properly. We have to crossover the luggage once we opened it fully if we wanted to get to the other side of the bed. The heater was not working during our two-night stay. Even the towel rack has no heat too. This hotel is most likely 2.5 stars, not even reached a 3-star hotel standard yet. The price tells it matched the standard. No hanger or wardrobe in our room, not match to the picture shown. Don't have a hanger to hang our coat and clothes. The good thing about this hotel is the location, it's near the supermarket and Place de Jaude. Easy to find nice restaurants nearby. The receptionists were friendly and helpful to recommend us to the local dining venues. And there are plenty of public parking slots outside the hotel which is 7 pm to next day 9 am free parking.

Our stay was good overall. However, I was charged for the room at checkout and only discovered later that I had already paid when I booked originally. This is a serious error and I am now trying to get a refund which is a hassle.

1 day stay here this time but have stayed here before for 3 nights.3 star hotel close to Jaude the main shopping mall.Close to Gare Routiere which is the coach station.Free wifi was ok.Breakfast was 11 euro for Contintental breakfast but did not partake.Had room with air-con,hair dryer included with tea/coffee making kettle.Like the bed with 2 types on pillow depending on your taste;Hard or soft.Have already booked for my next stay here.Better value than their Prestige which is closeby

Good position close to Jaude for shopping and for me close to coach station.Close to a few supermarkets too.Only shower no bathtub. Only liquid soap.There was a kettle with coffee sachets and tea bags with small uht milk but no mini fridge in my room.My room faced the road so was some noise especially weekend when drunken people made lots of noise.During my stay the hotel front was being renovated so had to enter via the car park drive.Continental breakfast was 11 euros which was onn the first floor with toilets for people who wanted to use.The bed was 2 beds together with 2 types of pillow.The was heating plus air conditioning too which Les Laurendes did not have. I booked to stay here next month for just 1 night.There a few electrical plugs so no problems.Wifi worked ok for email.Lighting was not that good.Needed to switch the 2 bed side lights and study table lights on with 1 ceiling light on.There was a smoke detector in room.The refurbishment caused the fire alarm to come on.I went downstairs just in case if it was a real fire.

Conveniently located. Free street parking at the weekend and from 7pm - 9am. we had a comfortable stay. No complaints!
