A unique and memorable stay at an abbey full of historic charm. Excellent service and hospitality. The room decor is tastefully done and comfortable, good AC for the summer. The master bedroom patio door contains an automated security panel to block sunlight. The breakfast in the lobby is the highlight, love the pain au chocolat and especially the ham.

Charming Hotel. As everyone says, try and stay on 1st Floor away from the Pool area. Room is very pleasant. Missing a few touches but overall 7.5 out of 10.

Wonderful

What a BEAUTIFUL experience! Staff were lovely, my room was amazing, the little pool was perfect (but really deep for me; I’m 4’10” and I couldn’t touch the bottom), the location was easy to get to from train station and I could see the bell tower of the Notre Dame basilica from my opened stained glass window. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The hotel is a gorgeously renovated abbey on the edge of the old town center of Beaune. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Betty we felt welcome and relaxed. The room was spacious and elegant. The subterranean pool was a favorite feature to me, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast, which was served in a beautiful room by kind and attentive people, was delicious, with buffet items and eggs served to order. We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The facility is awe inspiring and the people who run the hotel were extremely welcoming. This is a very special hotel.

A unique property but awkward. Narrow spiral staircase to 3rd floor. Some maintenance needed (tap handle fell off in bathroom). Suite had internal stairs that were steep and iffy. Stunning view. Cost a lot for what you get.

Be prepared for stairs and hot bedrooms!

Lovely character hotel located around the corner from the centre of town. Lovely helpful staff and amazing building.

Beautiful historic hotel — excellent breakfast and quiet street. NOTE that there is NO elevator and the stairs are stone and spiral. It was fine for us but older people or anyone with balance issues needs to be careful

Unique property in an Abbey.

This property was stunning. It felt like you were staying in a castle, just like the pictures. Staff was super helpful. Breakfast was great. There are a lot of stairs so definitely be prepared for that (even in the room the bed was a loft situation). There is lots of free parking within a 10 minute walk. Tons of food and wine bars within walking distance. Highly recommend!

An incredible building with ample history and comfort, alongside a wonderful staff!

This is such a nice place to stay. The location was amazing easy walking and if you want to drive and see the wineries this was easy as well.

This abbey is historic. The lobby is like a catacomb. My room had a view of the nearby cathedral and the town of Beaune. The staff is super helpful. Breakfast is very good. There is a small pool although it's too short to swim laps and too deep to relax in. It's in the heart of Beaune do I could walk everywhere. It is not the place for you if you have trouble with stairs or balance. There is a spiral staircase with uneven steps to the rooms. My room had steep stairs to the bedrooms.

Very uncomfortable 72 steps to get in the room. Small stairs… bad breakfast… Very nice the abbey not a good place to stay because of the steps everywhere… no elevators for the luggage

What an amazing hotel, from the lobby to the room the place was beautiful. Was a treat to be able to stay in such an old and beautifully restored building. Staff was very kind and booked us a few activities for the day. We had an amazing stay. One thing to note is that the only way to most rooms is up quite a few stairs, so if you are less mobile this might not be the best choice.
