Mainly it was the inability to adjust the heating down from what appeared to be 22 degrees. Which forced us to open the sliding door to try to cool the room down, unfortunately it was a warm Saturday night, & the young people on Whyte ave’ were trying to outdo one another for who could be the loudest. This must happen quite often, as the hotel provides earplugs! There were problems with; the TV; the ice machine & the coffee maker. The bed was firm; low & the frame protruded to catch your shins in the dark. Otherwise the buffet breakfast was tasty, & the complimentary valet parking, helped on a busy Saturday night on Whyte avenue.

Nice hotel, but the air condition was turned off for the season, but the weather was hot. I opened the window to cool down the room, but on one night (friday) there was loud music playing nearby.

I like that is is pet friendly since I had my little dog with me however no pet dishes in room so make sure you bring them. Noisy area but was expecting that since we are on white avenue so room was supplied with earplugs. Beds were comfortable and water pressure in shower was excellent. There is a small off leash dog park near by and lots of stores will allow dogs inside. Even with all the noise I loved the location. Valet parking was so convenient for us. We would stay there again

Worst stay I've had. When checked in, (there were workers right outside my window, so had to shut the drapes for privacy) turned the AC on to combat the hot room, and left for dinner, upon returning the room was HOTTER. Called the front desk and was told, then that the AC was broken. This was not disclosed to us upon check in. We were offered a fan, however while trying to figure out that, was hung up on mid conversation. Also! The patio door was bolted shut with no other windows that could be opened. The next day upon returning to the hotel around 5pm on saturday... the workers were still outside my window... turns out working on the AC. I called the front desk to ask why there are workers outside my room, because I can't even have the drapes open with them right there. Was told they would look into and follow up. Well no follow up, and 2 hours later, the workers were still there. Called back and was lied to "We tried to call back a couple times but the line must have been in use" I was told... I was napping... The workers were going to be there all night. Was offered to change rooms, which we said yes to to at least have some. No offer to move our luggage or fan to the new room, just keys and a free glass of wine. Rooms were filthy Breakfast - Looked through 6 glasses for a clean one Beds - Horrid! Soft, Bouncy, OLD Service - Unaccommodating and rude Parking - 2 Blocks from the hotel Cleanliness - Overall really bad Keep your expectations low.

I’ve stayed at this hotel three times, and while previous visits were great, this one was extremely disappointing. We booked a Premium King Room for a couple’s getaway and were told at check-in that we had a “really good room.” Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The room was unbearably hot with no proper ventilation. We had to keep the patio door open all night just to breathe, which meant dealing with loud street noise from traffic and nearby bars. Sleep was nearly impossible. On top of that, the shower dripped constantly all night, adding to the disruption. I mentioned the issues to the front desk in the morning, and the only compensation offered was free parking valued at $27. While that gesture was appreciated, it didn’t make up for the uncomfortable night and poor experience overall. We were really looking forward to this stay, especially having booked a premium room, but left feeling frustrated and disappointed. After this experience, I’m honestly not sure we’ll return or recommend this hotel again.

Whyte Ave is very loud at night, but hotel provided complimentary ear plugs. Free breakfast was actually amazing, not just yogurt, toast, cereal and boiled eggs. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again and again

The room was was clean, but hot. The only way to cool the room was to open patio door which looked directly out over Whyte ave. Which is loud. The pillows were uncomfortable. And we charged for coffee at a self serve machine in the lounge?
