Hotel Villa Ambrosina is quiet, off the beaten path with beautiful views. I absolutely loved the room. It had a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful for only 5 euros. I will caution everyone that it's a very hilly approach from the town, but we walked to a local store for supplies with no problems at all. I loved this stay.

Very nice hotel at the top of a mountain with a great view. Beautiful and quiet area to walk around. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite good. Going up the mountain in the taxi was quite scary as the roads are very narrow and steep. The room doesn’t have a minibar, which would have been nice. Definitely would come back and recommend it to those looking for some quiet and relaxing time.

Our stay in this hotel was wonderful. The guy at the front desk make our stay feel like home. Help us Dutch everything we need. The only thing about this place it’s transportation hard to find a taxi. Other than that all is excellent!!!! Will recommend for a quiet gateway.

Hotel Villa Ambrosina is up a steep hill with Commanding views of the Tuscan countryside from the top, it was a 15 minute drive from Florence and we parked in a big car park just inside the city walls which was great. The hotel is slightly dated, reception were helpful and there is a separate restaurant on site, the road to the hotel is narrow but there is a better alternative route!

Property was Exceptionally clean and the staff verry friendly! Room was excellent and the attached restaurant, though not affiliated with the hotel was excellent. Great Value and would highly recommend both!

Nice location , nice view. Restaurant had good food . Hotel room do not have fridge. Had a charging station for car but it did not work on plug in hybrid unfortunately.

Was clean and it was sufficient to sleep at. Staff wasn’t rude but not what one would call outgoing and helpful. We had a problem with the AC leaking all over the floor and around the door. Instead of fixing it or changing rooms. The desk clerk handed me a bath mat and walked away. 4 days we stayed and no one bothered to fix it or anything. Instead it dripped over the entry door and out into the hall. Floor was marble tile inside and outside except for the carpet runner that was in the hall which got soaked and I’m sure will be moldy by now. No help from the staff and not even a sorry we will try to fix it later. Pictures on hotel.com were of new furniture and nice decor for the lobby and sitting areas. My guess is they were removed and replaced after the photos with older furniture. Pictures of the outside the hotel were also old. Supposedly a nice grassy area which is all dug up and under construction now.

It was only one night. A GREAT Night. Very professional Staff. A wonderful hotel, on a great spot, a large and wonderful view from the rooms. Everything was GREAT. We'll book again, next time we go in Italy

Need to drive a car to hotel. Not near any public transportation. 20 minutes to train station.

Staff helpful and considerate--hotel extremely comfortable. I did miss a bar, burr restaurant easily accessible.

Nice hotel but slightly off the beaten path. We stayed there because we had a car so it was a less expensive option than in Staying in Florence. People were helpful and courteous, especially the concierge. He helped us with directions and suggestions about things to do. Excellent restaurant and a nice continental breakfast that was included in price. We would stay there again.

Great service, very friendly people. I was sick the last night and asked for privacy to be able to sleep and everyone was on top of it!! The breakfast is pretty basic but sufficient and of good quality. The only thing is the internet wireless connection. It does not work in the rooms and there is not a wired option either. Other than that, I would have given it a 5.
