Like most of our seaside resorts and hotels this hotel is showing its age. for a four star hotel the food was ok but if you are going to offer a minimal menu then at least do it well. If you do not have ample parking for your guests you should at least consider offering parking elsewhere FOC or at a reduced rate and advising your guests clearly and specifically about the issues you have with parking so that they can time their arrival better. The staff where all pleasant and helpful and the hotel satisfied our requirements for the weekend we had planned. Thank you

My wife and I met here 43 years ago when she was the assistant housekeeper and I delivered the laundry. The room was nice but not as clean as they were back in the day or what would be expected for the current star rating ( cobwebs & sticky sweets** FLIES. ) and the gaps in the window frames made for a chilly sea breeze. Really dissappointed at the cost of over night parking, where should we park other than where we sleep. Afternoon tea was nice.

Check-in was painfully slow as there was only one person on the desk. And despite having phoned up and messaged twice to ask for a twin room, we were still given a double. The problem was solved quickly and we were moved to a larger twin room; however the beds were still together, so we had to move them to separate them! A twin is two separate single beds, not two separate single beds fixed together with no room to move them apart! Breakfast was nice and kept replenished but there was no dairy-free alternative milk as standard. I brought my own with me anyway.

Room was good, little dated but expected for an older hotel. Staff were fine and helpful. Only complaint is breakfast, the small buffet area was crowded and only one coffee machine meant it felt chaotic.

Staff were very helpful, especially at Check in. The room was modern but small and was noisy due to being above the lounge area. Room was also very warm even after turning the aircon down. Mattress was very firm, neither of us slept very well. Limited choice of foods at breakfast and a lot of choice was empty. Overall, its not a bad hotel just needs a little bit of work.

Room was very basic and quite cold. Bathroom was in need of a refuel with cracks and damage to bath. Linens were clean and room was clean but all generally tired. Breakfast was ok very average. Afternoon tea was disappointing and dinner the same. Reception area was clean and dining area tidy but dull. Parking was good for us but we were lucky to get a space.

The hotel is a bit tired looking but we couldn’t fault the cleanliness and the attitude of the staff. Will definitely return as the ideal location for the Pavilion theatre

Good hotel. Breakfast was frustrating, just one coffee machine available, so a long wait for hot drinks.

Lovely comfortable room overlooking the sea. Everything we needed for an overnight theatre stay . Really well situated hotel opposite the beach 5 minutes to the BIC and Pavillion theatres and shops . Parking is a bit pricey on site nearly £15 per night but there is a car park a short walk away that charges £6.30 for 24hrs
