Brilliant hotel. Busy location but not too busy. Would definitely come back next year.

This hotel continues to evolve and somehow gets even better with every stay. Since my last visit, they’ve refurbished the gym and added filtered water and coffee machines to the rooms, showing a genuine commitment to continually improving the guest experience. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the consistently exceptional customer service across every department. I’ve stayed here several times now and genuinely can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Malta. Whether you’re travelling for business or leisure, the location is ideal and the experience is second to none. The pool team are fantastic and always happy to help with anything you need. The concierge and porters are consistently welcoming and quick to offer assistance, while housekeeping is incredibly well organised. Everything is done in a way that leaves guests feeling relaxed, comfortable and genuinely looked after. The management team are also highly visible and approachable throughout the hotel, which reflects just how well it is run. This is an outstanding Marriott, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Malta. They consistently go the extra mile, and that’s exactly why I keep coming back. Malta is a very special place to me, and over the years this hotel has become just as special in its own right.

Had an excellent stay at the Malta Marriott resort & spa. We had a deluxe sea view room, which was wonderful! The breakfast was excellent, the location very safe and convenient and everybody was so friendly and helpful! Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic hotel, very clean and modern. Everything is excellent but nothing compares to the staff who are ALL amazing. The most friendly, helpful people you will meet, nothing is too much trouble. They definitely made our stay. The area is great whether you go towards the Spinola Area or the 20 minute walk to Sliema through the back streets which brings you out right near the ferry terminal. The Sundeck roof top pool is lovely and very clean. The only gripe is the people who put the complimentary towels on the loungers early in the morning and disappear till sometimes the afternoon. Very annoying and unfair. Counted 12 empty loungers one morning around 10am with only 4 people in the pool. Thankfully there is an adults only area upstairs that people don't rush to so we used that a few times. We didn't book breakfast as we prefer to try different places or wait till lunch. We did try once, the choices were excellent, lots of different foods on offer. It was quite expensive for the small amount we eat for breakfast so we didn't bother again. I would highly recommend this hotel for any kind of break for all travellers but didn't seem an awful lot for younger children other than swimming. The Sundeck pool was for 16 years and above but the lower pool was bigger and looked ok for children.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It is centrally located with two nice pools, an excellent restaurant and bar, and an outstanding spa (I recommend the mud bath). The only odd thing is that the toilet is in an isolated room with no sink, so you have to walk through the common area of the room to a separate bathing area to wash your hands. I would recommend it for someone’s first trip to Malta.

Everything about this place was amazing. This was our first time in Malta and we will definitely be coming back. The people that work at the hotel cannot look after you enough, they are brilliant! The amenities were amazing. Also, we had a special birthday and when we got back to the room, there was some bubbles and some cake to celebrate! Perfect holiday. One teeny niggle was people saving pool chairs at 7am and I think it would be beneficial if there was a 30 minute rule where they were cleared down if they’re not being used to allow other guests to use them. thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic property with great pools and accommodation in a central location near to excellent restaurants overlooking the bay

We have stayed here a few times and wouldn't consider anywhere else. Great location, pools are great, service is good

The Marriott Hotel is excellently located in a central area, with a bus stop nearby and supermarket within walking distance for everyday essentials. There is also a wide variety of restaurants in the surrounding area, making dining very convenient. A useful tip for future visitors: locals generally do not recommend swimming at Balluta Beach. Instead, Fond Ghadir Beach with its Victorian Baths is a great nearby alternative (open sea). Aqua shoes are recommended, as all spots are rocky. The only reason I am not giving a perfect rating is that my Deluxe Room was located directly next to the elevator, with a staff service room opposite. Unfortunately, this resulted in regular noise throughout the day and evening. Apart from that, I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

Lovely, spacious room and stunning view over Balluta Bay. Hotel feels quite claustrophobic compared to other similarly priced hotels in the area and food choices quite limited. Some of the staff were excellent, particularly housekeeping and reception, but it was sometimes difficult to get someone's attention on the terrace or in the lounge. It felt more appropriate for business travel rather than our biannual trip to visit Maltese family, but we had a good stay nevertheless.

Such a fantastic hotel - we enjoyed every moment! The upgrade to the M Club is well worth it and all the staff were wonderful. Can’t wait to come back!

Great hotel with free parking. Breakfast was excellent, with a vast choice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The M club was a bonus.

one little niggle the adult pool should really be for adults the pool is great bit with a couple of loud children at time meant it should have been a little less noise,but otherwise great ,thank you,
