Updated rooms nice

Whilst the property was clean the lady at the check in desk was not pleasant. We arrived around 1pm and weren’t allowed to check in. When asked if there was a bathroom we could use we were told no they were only for guests! Not at all the warm welcome you’d expect.

Its was ok. No sugar for coffee. No cleaning daily of rooms. Not enough parking. Oaid too much for this hotel.

It was ok. Very old heating and plumbing. Beds were very comfortable.

I enjoyed my stay until the early morning when I was awakened by a strange sound and a really bad smell from the bathroom. When investigating I found that the toilet was full of excrement from someone else, many in fact. I was not offered any money back for my inconvenience of not having a toilet when waking up. I do firmly believe that I should get 1/3 of my cost of 360.00 back. That would be $120.00 off of my bill thank you.

We stayed for 2 nights. Cute little Inn. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. Big bathroom. We stayed in room 204 and I dont think theres an elevator. The room had all the essentials like microwave, fridge, hairdryer, and coffeemaker. Will definitely come back but we’ll bring our own towels since the towels are thin and short.

I had the best experience staying at Aura inn, they had great customer service and made me feel at home.

Easy check in. Very accommodating. Nice room with ample space. Nice bathroom with ample space.

My teenage son loved that we had separate bedrooms with doors between us. The beds were tall and comfy.

Couldn’t ask for better at this price. Excellent location and very quiet. We inadvertently left an item in the room and when we called they found it and we swung by and got it before we left town. Well done, thank you

I enjoyed my 3 day stay at this motel. Initially I was put in a ground floor room with a view of the back of the check-in building. I'm a female solo traveler and I knew I would feel safer in a second-level room. I requested a room change and they granted it for my remaining 2 nights. I'm glad I asked for that - being on the second floor gives you a much nicer view of the surrounding trees. The motel backs up to a residential neighborhood and it was very quiet. Occasionally you could hear vehicular traffic on the main road right beside the motel but it wasn't bothersome. The room had everything I needed and I thought they did a really nice job with renovating the bathroom. The location is perfect - so easy to jump on the highway or take surface streets to wherever you are going. If you're wanting the oceanview experience of being in Monterey, I say save your bucks and stay here. Have a nice dinner at the Monterey Beach Hotel restaurant and enjoy the view without paying their high sleeping room rates. Or go to any of the other beach front restaurants. I really appreciated keeping that money in my pocket.

Easy to find on Munras. Nice room, not cramped. Decent parking.

Great location to the restaurants, the mall, Fisherman’s Wharf and Carmel Beach.

Check in was great. Received suggestion for dinner and it was perfect!
