We had a wonderful stay here as a family for a couple of nights — easily one of the nicest hotel experiences we’ve had. We were kindly upgraded, free of charge, to a spacious apartment-style suite with two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. It made all the difference for us travelling with young children — comfortable, quiet, and very well equipped. The overall atmosphere, service, and setting were excellent, and the hotel felt genuinely welcoming for families. The only downside — and a significant one for us — was the electric vehicle charging situation. Although the hotel advertises two charging points, only one was operational during our stay (something the staff was already aware of), and that one charger was monopolised the entire time by a guest who never moved their vehicle. Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t know whose car it was and wasn’t able to assist. This became quite stressful as fast chargers are rare in this remote part of Spain, and we had planned on being able to recharge on site. That said, everything else about our stay was truly exceptional, and we would gladly return — ideally with the EV charging issue resolved.

Great resort ideal for golfer and small family. The staff was very welcoming. The buffet is expensive for what it is, i recommand you go eat outside the site if you want a nice supper.

Fantastic place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the kitchen and lounge make it really comfortable. The spa is basic but ok for 12 euros. The gym lacks big weights but has enough to keep active.

Apartment was run down. Bathrooms were very old and dated. The hotel portion was lovely!!

Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars.

The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. Great condition, size and facilities. The pool area was also great, but the maintenance of the pool floor tiles needs to be fixed: many tiles were missing and there were sharp edges. The kids club and evening entertainment was very good. Although my kids struggled with the club as it was almost all Spanish only speaking kids and my two kids could only speak English and Portuguese.

Only problem really was the remote location. For golfers fantastic as right in the middle if two courses. For non golfers its a pleasant 15 minute walk through forrestry and over wetland to the village. The signage qhen driving there is poor.

Nuestra estancia estuvo muy bien, pero el área de departamentos es inmensa y tiene un solo acceso, supongo que pir seguridad. Esto hace complicado llevar y traer el equipaje al arribo y a la partida.

Very good place to explore surroundings and very comfortable accommodation

The location is very good being right in front of a golf course and tucked into an area close to a natural reserve. The bird life for whomever enjoys it, is fantastic there. I don’t think i will come back to that resort though. The first flat i was given was overlooking the parking so i asked for a better. location. The receptionist was very helpful. But the flat key wasnt working, i had to go back to get a new one. The falt is otherwise comfortable and the bed situation very good. Unfortunately, early morning on my second day, the stove blew up as i was cooking my eggs. When i went down to reception, the receptionist sent a maintenance person quickly. He couldnt repair it straight away for security reasons. So i reported this at 8am but it wasnt fixed before 11am. A well trained staff would have offered a breakfast coupon. The spa experience was very disappointing too, the sauna and steam bath were not functional. I reported it so the spa receptionist offered a refund. I think the gardens are lovely, very well maintained and i applaud the landscaping team. Apart from that, the place is sadly understaffed. Resulting in the customer feeling like nothing runs as smoothly as it could.

Wonderful resort. Great quality in every aspect

Booked here due to attending a wedding nearby. Apartment was in great condition and the kitchen had everything you needed. Very nice pool. Only ate in the buffet restaurant once for breakfast and it was extremely busy.

We spent a month in El Rompido and loved it. Beautiful area with excellent beaches and other activities. Close to Punta Umbria and El Portil. Great places to eat. We loved the resort too. Made to feel welcome. Quickly changed our apartment when we asked to move. Provided iron and extra pot and glasses. Downside sweeping snd cleaning - floors very poor also wardrobes skirtings dusty. No ironing boards apart from one in the laundry but difficult to access unless you can get the key. The on site super market is very over priced. Excellent selection of supermarkets in the area. Recommend using them. The laundry only has one washing machine and tumble dryer and each time it’s in use the person can have the key for 24hours! You can’t book it in advance either. Not great for long stays.

Apartment was fantastic. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy too.

Thin walls. Could hear noise from other rooms and hallways.

Excellent facilities. Good location. Staff very attentive
