The hotel has a great location overlooking Mount Brasil. It is within easy walking distance to Angra and central to all the major sites in Terceira. Breakfast was excellent! Great place to stay!

The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. We did have trouble finding a useable outlet within the room that wasn't already being used. And the room looked a bit older than the photos make out but it was still very nice and clean.

Honestly, it was BEAUTIFUL. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great! Service was amazing. The team did a great job at making us feel welcome. The daily cleaning was also well done! The location is just perfect. The amenities are great (pool, indoor pool, gym!)

Staff were the best! .. wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful ocean views throughout the hotel. The restaurant/bar food was excellent and inexpensive. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety of fresh and delicious foods. Both indoor and outdoor parking available. Didn't use the hotel gym, but I could see it was constantly in use and had all equipment needed for a full workout. Also, didn't use the indoor or outdoor pools but they looked clean and well maintained. My only complaint ... We were 3 adults sharing one room, we didn't want a pullout couch bed and this was the only hotel who offered three beds in one room which we reserved. However, upon arrival, our room had only 2 beds and the dreaded pullout couch bed which had a thin mattress so you could feel the framework and sank when you laid down. Hotel staff did their best to make us as comfortable as possible, but nothing could help with the pullout couch bed. So, except for that, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.

The property could not be located in a better place. The view from the room and the cleanliness was fantastic! The staff was super friendly! Will definitely look to go back if I stay in a hotel.

The bed was very uncomfortable, very hard. Staff didn’t provide any information upon check in. Breakfast options very basic. I expected better. Beautiful pool area and gorgeous view. Walkable to downtown.

An outdated hotel in a nice location. Old, run down mediocre hotel. There is nothing to like about this place apart from the location. Would never stay here again!

Excellent hotel

This property is beautiful and perfect for families. The ONLY issue is mattresses on beds. Not very comfortable which is surprising considering reputation of Bemsaude Hotels. Has a large pool and pool bar. It also has indoor pool and hot tub, along with a gym. Breakfast buffet is ok. Dining at bar/restaurant is good. Walking distance to town to all shops and dining options. Again, this is perfect for families and large groups.

Full accommodations without the stuffiness. Seems to be an older hotel outside its prime but aged well. Wonderful pool and grounds and an easy walk to town - best and quickest along the water path. Would recommend to all my family and friends.

Overall very nice. It's a shame that there are no hot drink facilities in the room, i.e. no kettle or coffee machine, and the water was not replaced so we had no drinks provided in room. The buffet dinner had no vegetarian option. The marble spiral staircase was a bit of a hazard as it was easy to slip and hurt yourself. The staff overall were very keen to help and friendly.
