Wonderful visit. We had a ticket for tubing, dinner at Safari and s night in the ice hotel. The non-ice room was so nice we didn’t want to leave for the chill room outside when booking a room in the Ice Hotel you also gave a room in Hotel Valicartier). Very spacious, great view, clean, comfortable bed. Thrice hotel was very fun to experience-dress as they suggest and the sleeping bag was warm enough.

I did not realize that you get a hotel room with you ice hotel room. With the lock down, this was the only way that we did not turn into an ice block

Wonderful place for overnight stay and multiple days stay. Valcartier is outstanding interms of amenities, hospitality, restaurants, cleanliness. I strongly recommend for stay with Vaclartier. Only drawback is the outdoor car parking in Winter.

Because of Covid, all the bars, restaurants and with the exception of two shops were shut down.

The property itself was great!!! Having every restaurant, bar, shops, shut down was depressing, No fault of the staff, I understand. It was done because of Covid. And having to wear a mask!!!?? They are just doing what their government dictates. We will return when things get better.

The pictures don't do the hotel justice and the detail was absolutely incredible. My partner and I got engaged inside of the hotel and were met by an incredible staff and photographers who captured the moment perfectly. The sleeping bags they provide to keep you warm did a great job and we were very comfortable during our stay (and if anything bordering on too warm).

Unique and memorable experience. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and offered reassurance regarding particulars of staying overnight. Very comfortable sleep.

So much to do besides the hotel, there is tubing, water park available, tour of the hotel and a nice area to relax on the second floor. Lots of children DO ènjoy the outdoor and in door

The overall experience was spectacular ! The only thing that sucked is the communication as we never really got a break down of where things were and how we should better prepare ourselves we spent most of our time walking around in circles or to our room to get changed and then back outside! It didn’t help that our room was literally furthest from the igloos and tubing! By the time we got ready for tubing we only had an hour! We’re ready to take on this experience better and smoother next time ! Definitely recommend and you gotta think ahead of time and bring a backpack so you don’t have to walk 25 mins to your room and back! Maybe add some elevators to the further sides of the hotel because the were always so full 24/7!

We stayed one night in the Ice Hotel and the instructions, tour of the rooms, hot tub and sauna...not to mention checking off a bucket list item by sleeping in the Ice Hotel. Great adventure!

Our stay at the Hotel de Glace was amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it. No, we were not cold :) All beds have a thick memory foam mattress. In addition, there is a constant temp in the Hotel de Glace (HdG) and the sleeping bags are rated far below that temp. It's a great one-of-a-kind experience. After reading other reviews, I believe they changed the room policy for 2020. From the previous reviews, it sounded as if guests where given access to luggage storage lockers, communal showers and bathrooms. That was not our experience. We booked a room in the HdG through Hotels.com, but were also given a nice room in the Hotel Valcartier (the property where the Hotel de Glace resides). So, you’ll have 2 rooms – one in the HdG to experience and the other to store luggage, bathe, hang out and, if needed in the middle of the night, could come back and sleep in conventional bed (which won't be needed, but it’s nice to know it’s there). You have to be out of the HdG room by 9am but you'll have the Valcartier room until 11. I added some pics but it will look different each year, as it's built from the ground up yearly. We would highly recommend the experience.

My husband and I were celebrating Valentine’s Day and our Anniversary and absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hotel De Glacé! The staff were very friendly, especially Karine, so helpful and knowledgeable! Just made the trip that much more special! Awesome experience!

The atmosphere is family oriented. Having more information about the activities would be nice.
