The hotel turned out to be in an industrial zone on the edge of town. The garden I was expecting from the photos was a belt of trees between us and a major highway. However, the rooms were quiet. Also, we could see the traffic jam so we could time our departures for better traffic. The hotel management and workers were very friendly and helpful.

Having booked and paid for everything whilst in the UK I did not expect another £40 bill at the end of 5 nights. This was part of an 18 day tour and it was only Campanile that imposed this charge. Needless to say I will not be staying with them again they work out to be £10 per night dearer for an inferior quality. BEWARE be very aware

We waited 15 minutes at reception until someone turned up to check us in. We were only able to have a cold starter and dessert for our meal as 'there was a problem with the kitchen' but we were charged for 3 courses. The bedroom accommodation was more 'hostel' than hotel. The shower room was good and the beds were clean but the bedroom door would not close fully, there were cobwebs on the ceiling and the carpet was dirty. BUT our evening waitress was delighful. Overall, we were overcharged and very unimpressed. An expensive mistake.

Second stay in this chain of hotels this trip and happy with room,parking and check in Ate in the restaurant which was good value had the starter buffet eat all you want and steak 17.95 euro I think good value Good nights sleep as well Not luxury but good value

Hotels.com made a mistake with our reservation when we arrived at the hotel they said we needed to pay extra for another bed. The manager from the hotel was very nice with us and she didn't charge us for the upgrade. Unfortunately a representative from hotels.com phoned the hotel but they weren't willing to pay the upgrade. The bedroom was very nice and comfortable.

My only complaint would be about the pillows. Lumpy and with very creased pillowcases.

Was by far the best hotel of our 5 day trip in France. Clean, well presented room with everything you could want. Great power shower! Definitely stay at Campanile again.

Clean rooms, shower not bath, newly renovated. Service standard french, efficient but not necessarily friendly. Location next to ring road and motoways was fine; no "soiré étape" so room plus meal can be expensive.

The catering was very good and was a very reasonable price. There were lots of different offers of menus. Generally I would ceratainly recommend this hotel for price and quality

From the line green room light to the shower that fills the whole bathroom this place screams modern Europe. Hotel is right off the freeway, a little loud... May work for overnight. Not great if you want to explore the city. Breakfast was ok.

Have used Campanile hotels before and pleased to say the standard of the rooms remains the same. Clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was good but the evening meal was disappointing. The food was delicious but the portions were small and there were no vegetables with the meal. Well cooked pollock with plain boiled rice and nothing else. Hardly inspiring.

Having stayed once before in a Campanile hotel, we knew to expect something clean and functional, which it was. Checkin was friendly and efficient. The food was good but the restaurant lacked atmosphere - and as we lingered over our meals (dinner and breakfast) the room was already being stripped of its 'restaurant' look! - which was unsettling. That (and the fact that the 'complimentary glass from the bar' can't be got because the bar is closed) rather give the lie to all the blurb about wanting to make our stay as happy and comfortable, etc, as possible... We'd recommend it - but with those caveats. It's located in an industrial estate some way outside Vannes so not that handy, but it's close to the main roads. We took a taxi in and the town itself is well worth seeing.

Séjour de passage dans cet hôtel très calme, bien qu'à côté de voies de forte circulation, excellent accueil et gentillesse de tout le personnel. Petit déjeuner parfait. Seul point noir, matelas à mémoire de forme très épais et s'écrasant facilement près du bord, avec chute du lit dans la nuit évitée de peu par mon épouse.

Climatisation en panne depuis.... C'est au client de s'en plaindre auprès du service client selon les personnes de la réception. Nous avons séjourné 5 nuitées. Le ménage de la chambre n'est pas fait à moins d'insister pour qu'il le soit. Les lits ne sont pas faits, les poubelles non vidées, papier toilette ....Malgré notre demande, 2 fois nous avons dû réclamer pour ce service évident.
