There was a night party and loud music was ON till 7:30am. Inspite of regular complaints, hotel management didn’t bother to take any action.

Second stay at the Palace, past its heyday. Impressive marble clad building. Clean and tidy but some features a bit rattly (air con, cupboard and floors creaky) spotlights through the curtains made for some small disturbance but an otherwise pleasant stay

I have been staying here for over 20 years. Unfortunately the hotel is in desperate need for renovation. The outside still has its old times charm, the rooms are very clean, but also very run down (nothing close to 5 stars hotel state —more like 3). The breakfast quality has deteriorated as well with several machines (orange juice, greek coffee) working on and off and mediocre food quality. The staff is mixed —some still very nice and some plain rude.

Fantastic hospitality as always. Great hotel and staff But a comment about Hotels.com you should warn people about the climate change tax as they book.

Lovely hotel, comfortable beds, beautiful pool area, great service and great breakfast reasonably priced. 10 mins walk to central Kifisia, lovely upmarket suburb of Athens. 2 mins walk to local bars and restaurants.

Lovely hotel, warm friendly staff, excellent breakfast, room very nice, great pool and deck, walkable to several restaurants and shopping. No usb ports in room and bed a bit hard for my liking.

We stayed here for two nights when we first arrived in Greece and again the night before our departure home. The reception staff is excellent! They all spoke perfect English (we don’t speak Greek), were helpful getting us transportation and communicating directly with taxi drivers on our behalf, and recognized us when we returned 10 days later! The cleaning staff was not as good, gave me 1 clean towel (for 2 of us) and didn’t understand when I asked for smaller towels and wash cloths My sisters’ rooms had both, so I know they had them. The room and bathroom were cleaned well. I had reserved an upgraded room and the first room (306) had a very comfortable king bed and was quite large with a dressing table, mini fridge (reasonable prices), and safe. It was on the corner and very quiet. The lights in the bathroom wouldn’t go on and the hotel had the problem fixed quickly. Only 2 of the electrical outlets worked and I was lucky to have brought a multi-plug converter so we could charge our devices. The second room (119) was nice, not as big, more outlets worked, but our “king” bed was 2 twins pushed together (hard seam down the center), and hard as a rock. I had a terrible night sleeping, my back was in a lot of pain for our long flight home. My sisters have stayed here for years and acknowledged it is not as nice as it used to be. It’s an old hotel in need of some work. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant was good, but I can’t risk getting another bed like the one I had

A good stay, my only poor review would be for the extremely hard bed.

Not good at all. If you’re planning to stay here don’t. First of all it has the highest city taxes. Rooms are very old and if that isn’t enough you can’t throw toilet paper down the WC. House keeping walked in my room at 0900 in the morning every morning without prior warning. I’ll just upload a picture of the iron board provided. Having presented all this to reception they invited me to report this to management which was not present at the hotel. Embarrassing and will never stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel previously and like its location and convenience. However this time, we noticed that the hotel needs some upgrades. It appears to have lost some of its charm and is looking a little worn.

Nice traditional hotel. Very clean and polite service in a great location with bars and tea. However bed was not true double but two separate and uncomfortable mattresses and shower was tiny in bath with shower curtain that sticks to your body.

The standard of your breakfast is poor No more signboards as to what is in each silver heated breakfast servers. There were fruit flies at the spout of the fresh orange juice maker. One orange above this machine was broken open and rotting. The staff took NO INTEREST in service at all. Eg When the cheese plate was empty it was not replaced. The staff are not trained to actively remove empty plates from tables. They only do so once the diners have left. The whole experience was far poorer compared to my previous stay.

Fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast was the best part. Rooms are clean but in need of an update. Mattresses could use an upgrade too. The walls are thin I could easily hear noise from the adjacent room. The hotel served my purpose and overall it was ok but I would look for a different hotel next time.
