First time I’ve never really been impressed with the staff. On arrival they didn’t even acknowledge our presence - both tapping away on their computers - until one finally acknowledged us and said the other one would check us in. After another while, she finally just said “surname”!! No smile, no greeting. Nothing. Apart from that, great hotel as always. Close to great restaurants and walking distance of town.

Brilliant staff-friendly, helpful, excellent food, quantity and quality, plenty of options. We had a twin queen room, massive comfy beds, big room, strange setup bathroom but still clean, could do with a spray air freshener in there though. Not bad location, free parking, rooms very warm. Didn't have dinner in the restaurant so can't comment, but it's the same restaurant for breakfast and that couldn't be better. Breakfast items replenished efficiently. Thank you to the staff for a great stay.

Excellent location being so close to Cardiff Bay and free parking as hotel guest is nice. You can tell the property is quite dated though and could do with some upgrades to rooms. Our air con did not seem to be working or not strong enough so that could be an improvement. Didn't try the restaurant but the bar area seemed nice and relaxing to sit and lounge.

The staff were very friendly. Easy to park and get to reception then up to the room. Room had a bath which was lovely

The hotel was fine reflecting a four stars hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the staffs were very helpful, the location, being at the bay, is great and the breakfast was great too. I highly recommend the hotel and will consider it for my next travel to Cardiff!

Good hotel expensive breakfast

We often stay here and usually sleep well although this time we were in room 125 and there was a constant sound similar to air conditioning (ours wasn’t on) though the night.

Don’t be put off by the building work going on around the bay. This hotel is a fab base for city and bay exploring . Free parking . Staff couldn’t have been any more helpful . Spacious and clean rooms

Great location for the bay area , value for money

Room was clean, staff very helpful, free WiFi, we didn’t use the laundry, the only thing was the bed was uncomfortable very firm

Very spacious clean rooms. Only issue was that it was warm on the 5th floor, air con only goes down to 17 degrees and it could do with being cooler. Otherwise all great.

Staff friendly and helpful. Large room. A walk in shower would be good.

Reception and restaurant staff were amazing, very friendly and welcoming and they were very helpful. Only issue was that there was meant to be an ice dispenser in the laundry room but doesn’t look like there was one. Everything else was perfect
