Incredible hotel. Very fancy, lovely room, great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helped me with taxis and translation. I ordered room service during my stay, there was a great selection of meals, it arrived quickly and was delicious. I was only here for two nights during the off season for a wedding, so didn’t experience the pool or much of the local area, so I can only review the hotel itself, and I am incredibly happy with my stay here. I would definitely come back again.

Lovely room and grounds. Our room had a patio which we enjoyed. Restaurant was very nice and a great breakfast also.

Air conditioning in the room didn’t work ! TV didn’t work ! Room wasn’t serviced ! But apart from that the hotel is very convenient! I think that’s probably the reason people stay there !

Staff at reception is unhelpful and not polite. Customer service is poor. Customer interaction is terrible. Room design is not convenient. Room cleanliness is average. Location of hotel is not close to any amenities. I would not recommend this hotel.

Loved this place. Just off highway so we were sceptical about location and noise but it was a lovely oasis. We stayed facing a large green area and didn’t hear traffic at all. The pool was lovely, rooms spotless and new. People kind and helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone

Everything and everyone at Encinar hotel was excellent, very impressed and convenient location for all the golf courses in the area. Everything seemed within 15 mins. Wen used taxis to go everywhere including Gibraltar

Great hotel lovely price

Excellent bungalow style superior rooms withvey large private terraces.A la cart dining menu served in hotel and restaurants.Situated in wooded valley,not overlooked.Major drawback all roads in the cacinity are vehicles only,no footpaths.Taxis needed to visit local restaurants shops and attractions some of which are as close as a 3minute taxis ride

Pleasant ,quiet , with good sized room

Booked in early, very nice reception staff. Room wasnt ready so they gave me one that was. Room was huge and extremely well set out. Shower was amazing, and the bed...well i havnt slept that well in ages

BOOKED IN totally helpful - lovely rooms with balcony - great open areas to relax and generally just a great stop over for golf , gym was OK pool was lovely

Lovely modern hotel. We had a superior room and it was faultless! The location is tricky - just outside the Sotogrande gated community with a busy main road to walk down to get to pathways - it is however possible! Taxis are ready and waiting at the hotel but you pay 30euros return for a trip to the port. Hotel is definitely worth a stay and especially if you hire a car!

Beautiful hotel with lovely breakfast and good dining options throughout the day and evening. Room exceptionally good although aircon did not go as low as we needed given the high temperature outside. Just a pity that the receptionist on duty at the time of our arrival was decidedly unfriendly. Never smiled once. Clearly needs more training or moved to a non customer contact position. On checking out, however, the other receptionist couldn’t have been nicer. Staff in all other areas of the hotel were great and extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again as the hotel itself was fabulous. Just please make sure your reception staff smile 😀

So close to sotogrande Marina - beautiful decor and friendly staff

Reception staff generally warm and helpful. Restaurant staff customer service has room for improvement. The usual Spanish customer service and attitude that their doing you a favour by doing their job. The hotel itself is beautiful and everything is to a high standard
