Our first impressions were excellent. An immaculate reception area and good welcome, with early access to our room. The room itself, on the 5th floor, was tired and needing renovation with grimy looking net curtains. One of the wardrobes had a jammed door and disappointingly it took 4 seperate calls at reception before a repair was made. Housekeeping wasnt up to the standard expected with towels not replaced, with the quality of the soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom meant that it was difficult to get liquid out of them. The pool area was well maintained and kept clean and tidy. With a bit of prompting the lifeguard removed the towels of the sunbed blockers, as per hotel policy, given there could be a shortage. We preferred taking our breakfast at the 4th floor restaurant, which had a calmer more relaxed atmosphere compared to the more frenetic, work canteen atmosphere of the 5th floor buffet breakfast. There was a good range of cooked and cold breakfast foods. The coffee from the self service coffee machines was dire. We ate out most evenings. Once we ate a la carte in the Galdana restaurant but were disappointed with the quality of the food, with the price being expensive compared to local restaurants. We had lunch most days at the 6th floor pool bar and were impressed with the quality of the food and service of the staff there. The friendliness of staff across the hotel was inconsistent. The evening entertainment provided we rated as poor quality bar 1 exception.

This whole hotel is brilliant. The staff are the most helpful people you will ever meet.

Had a fabulous stay, lovely room, great location. Great choices at breakfast. Staff were all welcoming and helpful. Hotel is in a great location. We were slightly out of season so not all the beach bars and restaurants were open but we could see they were getting ready to open in the next few days. We still found some lovely restaurants and didn’t have a bad meal. Lunch at the pool bar was also excellent. We also booked spa time and a massage which was just what we needed! We will most certainly return

Helpful pleasant staff, always available. Room very comfortable, shower pressure is good (6th floor), toiletries from White Company smells divine. Breakfast has large variety, tasty omelettes, though latte coffee is too weak at regular settings on coffee machine. Solid 4.5 stars if you are looking to rest and decompress.

Overall good stay, it was all comfortable and correct. Nothing soectacular

We had an amazing holiday here at this eco friendly and sustainable hotel. From when we walked in the front door we felt so chilled. Our room was excellent with a big walk in shower, a massive bed and best of all very comfy pillows. The pool area was clean and tidy with plenty of comfy sun beds to use. We went half board and the buffet choice was extensive there was always something to choose. However what made the holiday was the attentive friendly staff who made you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait until we return next year.

Great area with lots of restaurants. If you can walk 2km in the heat, there are excellent beaches you can reach on foot

We usually stay in an another hotel in the area and pay for a premium service “The Level” after staying here at the Artiem we won’t go back to the other hotel now. The Artiem is exceptional and better value for Money.

Artiem Audax met all our expectations and exceeded some. Modern, stylish, comfortable and luxurious. Our room had surely the best views in Cala Galdana. Views from the rooftop pool area were equally stunning. Really comfortable super-king bed and pillows (makes such a difference). Staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat there, preferring to go out, (except for an early evening diner-style meal at the pool cafe which was really good). Breakfast was decent and generous. BCorps credentials were evident throughout, from the water coolers to the recycled sea-plastic room trays. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had the most amazing time, the hotel was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was a real highlight, both at breakfast and in the evenings. There was a great variety each day, and everything was cooked to a high standard. A special mention to the omelette chef at breakfast, he put so much care into making each one, I've missed my morning omelette since coming home! I made use of the gym during our stay, and while hotel gyms can sometimes be quite limited, this one was fairly well-equipped and more than enough for a good workout. We had a partial sea view room, which turned out to be perfect. We had the sun on our balcony from early afternoon through to sunset, so even on days when sunbeds were all taken, we could still relax and soak up the sunshine in peace. The room was clean, the bed was really comfy, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was ideal - peaceful but also well-placed for getting out and exploring. I’d highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!
