The property is advertised as adults only, however the ‘private’ beach between the two hotel buildings is actually mostly public, and gets very overcrowded with families and children. There also seemed to be no security to monitor (drunk) people going onto the beach and into the sea in the middle of the night, which was very noisy and disturbing as someone who had paid to upgrade to a premium sea view room.
The hotel is also confusing from a board perspective, as a half board guest, when dining in the restaurant there are free fizzy drinks available, however we were charged for the bottle of water we had with our dinner. Maybe it’s just me but this seemed odd.
Also in the ‘Fancy Bar’ as part of my favourite club- which I thought was a lovely area to relax- there is a coffee machine and soft drinks and snacks that are complimentary, however to get an iced coffee from the bar you have to pay, again the logic just seemed off to me, I think the soft drinks should be complimentary and alcohol should be at an additional charge.
Overall we had a lovely stay, but the things mentioned above just tainted it a little.
