This hotel is not in downtown, but close walking distance, the room were clean but very small, old hotel, need some attention; example, safe box no batteries, the windows locks were unusable. But the people were super friendly and nice, but small details make a great place.

Nice, comfortable hotel in San Rafael. Staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The pool was also nice. It wasn't too warm when I was visiting so no one else was using the pool, but the water was quite warm and enjoyable. The location was about 5-10 minute walk to the "center". Wifi worked without problem.

Stayed in for one night. Hotel is clean. The hotel location was very convenient for us, four blocks from downtown. The service needs a little improvement.

This hotel is nothing to write home about. It is functional and looks clean but it is tired and needs a makeover. Staying for one night on my way to the airport it was OK traveling alone. !! Don't put the address into the GoogleMaps. Use the hotel name to get directions. The address will put you off the wrong exit.

This hotel is known to be the best in San Rafael and it is because of the high level of service the staff provides. Working in hospitality, I pay close attention to detail and the staff is always smiling, and willing to do whatever it takes to make the guest comfortable and spend their time there without a worry. I visited the spa and Dayana was excellent and very considerate of my aunts back condition while performing the massage and I appreciate that. The staff makes rounds every night in person to ensure you have whatever you need at the moment and for the next morning. They offer free breakfast, which you can order up to the room. I will definitely come back.

Comfortable hotel with a very nice pool area. Good breakfast. Room contained two double beds with one wall entirely mirrored - unusual!

This hotel has been my on-again, off-again home in San Rafael. Many of the staff's faces have not changed much over the years. A really excellent place to stay; a worthy stay in any city, let alone San Rafael.

Breakfast needs a little bit of improvement. Overall a good stay but overpriced for what you get in return.

Overall the experincia was good but we consider the price is a little high for the quality of the Hotel. I would say the rate of the Hotel is 3 Stars. Thanks and Regards.

Service was not great. They had our Expedia reservation wrong, only had it for one room, not the two we had paid for. We asked for a bottle water in our room, but they said we didn't get one because we had only a "standard room" so we had to go to the bar in the casino and pay for a couple of bottles of water to take to our room. Free Parkin was nice, and free breakfast was good, but rooms we very "so so".

Everything was good except the legendary scrambled eggs they make. They are awful! runny, bland and weird tasting. If they could improve that important part of their breakfast it would improve the overall experience tremendously!

It's the best choice in the city - wi-fi in every room, a decent spa with massage, a nice desayuno breakfast in the morning. Staff is helpful and generally cheerful. And it's very reasonably priced.
