Rooms needs upgrade. Also we booked for a 2 bed rooms and the rooms given to us was only king size bed.

There was a very strong, unpleasant smell of sewage throughout our stay, even though we said and were informed that they would try to treat the smell. The bedding was not clean. The best thing about the hotel was its location.

Great place to stay perfect with when traveling with a child walking distance from everything we had a corner room with a view of grand Via and it was awesome. Hotel staff was really nice rooms were clean.

The primary attribute to this place is the location. It is in the city center and close to public transportation. There are a lot of shops nearby. You can hop on the metro and easily get to the Santiago Bernabeu; if you need help the metro staff are friendly and helpful (except for that one unhelpful metro guy who was no help at all when I asked for directions and simply said “la diez” like what does that mean without contextual explanation?). The hotel room was clean and it did include an amenity kit: two free water bottles, shower gel and shampoo, hair dryer, toothpaste and toothbrush, some tissue. The room size however was small. There was a tv but you could tell it was old and it wasn’t working correctly; but remember, you are paying for the location and you aren’t there to watch tv, so not a big loss. Overall, for the convenience of the location and the cleanliness, it was good.

The staff was great and the room was clean. I gave it 3 stars because the breakfast did not look good :(
