Loved this hotel, surpassed expectations. Large spacious room and bathroom, beautiful decor, excellent location but the best part was the staff. They were ever friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Special mention to Laurence (? My spelling may be off.. apologies) at the front desk … Superb.

The personal we’re not friendly. Upon check in the other couple were given an upgrade at no additional cost. When my wife asked the receptionist was it possible to get an upgrade as welll she was very short with my wife saying she would have to check with the manager. We went to our room which was very small the phone wrang and my wife answered and was told an upgrade was not possible and hung up. Rude people! Never stay here again.

Great location, near beach and restaurants, and helpful staff. The building itself is an art deco gem and the rooms have the same style.

The Mercury Biarritz was in a perfect location. Everything was within walking distance. The hotel was very clean, beds were very comfy. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful!

The hotel is in a great location. It is clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful with excellent English. Our only discomfort was no air-conditioning. The temperatures were quiet high during our stay and we would have likedxto have used the air-conditioning, especially at night. Apparently the hotel's system was still on winter mode and so the cooling could not be used. This meant we had three bad nights of sleep. We were either too hot with the doors to the balcony open or kept awake by the revellers below.

Hotel is very central and is decorated in an Art-Deco style. Rooms are clean and comfortable although the air conditioning is not very powerful. Staff were pleasant and extremely helpful .
