Lovely clean quiet hotel, within walking distance of city center. Meals excellent

Rooms spacious but dated. Insufficient lighting and plug sockets. Breakfast poor- hot food was cold and non dairy milks were several days out of date.

Staff were fabulous, - friendly, polite and very helpful. Food was very good The room was clean and tidy and had everything needed. The only downside was how cold the room and bathroom were despite having the heating turned up as high as it would allow. We had to keep our coats on when not under the duvet. However, it was winter and when we stayed previously during springtime this was not a problem.

Staff were so kind, friendly and attentive. The food was really nice too but the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on.. it was rock hard and has left my back in a bad way. Be more comfort on a concrete floor. Should start putting in the email itinerary for guests to bring ibuprofen to protect their backs.

was a lovely hotel and breakfast included with secure undergroung parking and only about 20 - 25 minutes to the heart of Galway walking.

The room was very clean and spotless. The hotel staff were also great when we were checking in and out. This was the first place we didn’t have to pay for parking since arriving to Ireland. The hotel had onsite parking both around the building and under the building. There were lifts to accommodate those unable to use stairs. One downside was that we didn’t want the house keepers to clean the room while we were away as I’ve had things stolen in the past with that. They came in and cleaned even though we didn’t leave the sign on the door to refresh our room. Nothing was stolen or touched and they did do a good job cleaning up, but still would like my privacy to be protected.

Clean and comfortable room. The public dining area is quite tired and in need of renovation. Although I managed to have a Coeliac friendly dinner and breakfast I felt thee dinner options were very limitiled and not particularly healthy.

Breakfast was good. Little pricey.

The room wasn’t ready we arrived. When we were able to get into our room there was an overpowering smell best described and someone dumping an entire bottle of cologne on the carpet. When we mentioned it we were told to try turning on the ac to circulate the air. This did not work. Hours later the smell was strong as ever an made it very difficult to sleep. The shower dripped at night as well. The nexf day upon check out we again mentioned the overpowering smell and were told it was antiseptic spray or possibly air fresher used by the cleaning staff. Simply said they would mention it. Would not stay again or recommend
