Our employee stayed at the hotel on 27/5/26. The room we paid for was a garden view room. We paid upfront for this.
When our employee went to the room he noticed that the skirting board was off and being painted. Nails were poking out of the wall. The carpet was filthy. In fact he should not have been put into this room. When he advised the reception team that evening they advised they could move him but he would need to pay for an upgrade. Considering it was their error in placing him into a dirty room they should have placed him in the new room at no cost. This morning when he dropped off his key he spoke again to the reception team. Who were apologetic about the fact he was left in that room.
We have photos to show the absolute disarray the room was in. The skirting board was being painted and there were nails poking out but they tried to hide this with an old chair. The cupboard was moved and the dirt underneath was filthy. In fact the whole room was dirty.
Based on this we believe the Mantra on Salt Beach should be providing us a with a refund for this stay. We look forward to hearing back from you.
