The hotel restaurant was outstanding for lunch and dinner. Rooms were generous in size and comfortable beds.

each room has a mini split air conditioner in the room. Our 20 + year old air conditioner did Not work We informed the front desk multiple times to no avail. We had to open our room windows to a common exterior hallway to help reduce the temperature People were walking down the exterior stairs and next to our room ALL night each night. No compensation was offered for the torturous conditions.

We had a really lovely stay at Grano de Oro. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff were attentive and kind. Our room was clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed. Every detail had been attended to to ensure our comfort. We especially enjoyed the restaurant. It is beautifully decorated with a central open air courtyard. The food was excellent.

We love to stay at Grano de Oro. Room was great, dinner and staff great too. Thank you, see you next year.

Great room, great staff. A tranquil retreat for our brief 24 hour stop in San Jose.

This was our first stay at Grano de Oro. The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were spotless and the windows opened up for fresh air. We would stay there again plus there is a restaurant attached with fine dinning.

One night stopover and thoroughly recommend. We had dinner in the courtyard and the food was delicious.

Reception was perfect. Room was perfect. Hotel was perfect.

Room was a little small and temperature was too warm (thermostat didn’t really work well). Nice bathroom/shower. Restaurant was superb.
