The hotel was a little hard to find as there are no signs along the main street. The room had everything we needed. It was 90 degrees in May so we were able to borrow a fan from reception, since there is no air conditioning. Breakfast was included at a nearby restaurant. Note: The shuttle bus drops you about 3/4 of the way on the footbridge. You have to walk with suitcases the rest of the way, up a steep street to get to the room. Luckily we only had a small roller suitcase each. After 5-6 pm the island emptied out of all the day tourists and it was almost deserted. Great time to explore the village and get some great sunset photos.

We stayed at Les Terrasses Poulard. Amazing French breakfast buffet included with our room (although we heard it’s not included with all rooms). The room was clean and we had an amazing view. Jut be aware that there is no fan or AC. It was 90 degrees in May when we stayed there. It cooled down once sun went down and we had all windows open, but hot during the day.

This lodging consists of a group of hotels which are located on or slightly off the main street of Mt St Michelle. The check in process is somewhat complex with stops in two offices in separate locations, What is not disclosed in the lodging data is that there are multiple hotels, and the Expedia booking process did not allow to determine in which you are staying, This could be of particular importance for people with mobility issues. It is also disappointing because you wont likely be stating in the location published on Expedia. The rooms are small, consistent with most boutique European hotels. The carpet appeared to be somewhat in disrepair, Overall, the lodging is serviceable but not especially comfortable. It is best suited for a short(1-2 day) stay in a fabulous location,

Staying overnight on Mont Saint Michel made the visit unforgettable. The hotel is conveniently located and we were able to explore after the crowds had returned home. The lights and quiet made our stay very special.

Nice and easy to find. Room was comfortable and the hotel staff friendly. The restaurant and breakfast was mediocre. Eggs and bacon were always cold.

The overall price was very good value as it included a good restaurant dinner and breakfast and a small good room. Being on Mont St Michel meant a pleasant evening walk around and a visit to the Abbey before the massed hoardes Some pointers - we didn't receive the access code to get to the check in hotel. You need this to check in to another hotel first. You then take your luggage and go on the bus to the island which is okay. The instructions to the 'annexe' are terrible. We walked past it in the rain twice. Even the local shops didn't know where it was. It's down a little alley and the details are on a sign underneath some other information. I mentioned this to the receptionist on my return which was clearly a bit pointless.

The pictures and info on Expedia about this hotel are misleading. To reach the annex ehere our room was located you had to go down stairs outside which smelled of garbage. The room had indoor/outdoor type carpet that felt damp and there was instant nescafe for coffee. Stark white walls. The shower had mold. We were to receive a parking code to access parking and never received a response despite numerous emails. Instead, we kept getting a useless canned response that was in French even though we asked for a response in English. Were it not for a terrific dinner at the hotel restaurant, the experience would have been horrible. There was only a limited buffet for breakfast and a hot drink dispenser for coffee ... like a vending machine. Yuk.

The staff at the hotel were friendly & helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was substantial, with both hot & cold dishes, fruit, cheeses & breads. Note: the restaurant was a little way from the hotel down the street & it wasnt clear initially which one to go to. Strongly advise to book if u will eat there at night.

This was a wonderful surprise. After reading the reviews I was expecting it to be run down and smelly it wasn’t. We stayed in room 6 and had beautiful views out the windows. The room was clean the carpet didn’t smell, the pillows were great, the mattresses could be better, the room was large for three adult. The location was perfect and the breakfast was EXCELLENT. There were outlets everywhere and well thought out shelves, nightstands and wardrobe. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was a small room with a musty bathroom. It was grand for just one night. It was centrally located - in an annex of the hotel where the reception was. The view was of the overgrown yard space. You are paying to stay on Mont Saint Michel not for luxurious surroundings. Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and was good and plentiful. Parking was a mystery - we were told to go to a hotel on the mainland to get instructions about our hotel location but no advice was given about how to access the mainland hotel parking area where you need a code for the barrier to lift. They did not answer the phone. Do bring water for your hotel room as there is none available.

This was our first time in Mont St Michel. This hotel is located right off the Main Street near the entrance. It was easy to find. Staff was very helpful since you have to park your car off the site and then take a shuttle bus. Staff helped us to navigate that. The stairs were narrow as expected so travel light is the key. Rooms are comfortable.

It’s a basic room but clean. It was hard to find because only the check in area is marked. Thankfully the front desk person walked us there after we couldn’t find it. Our breakfast was included, which was nice. It was great to stay at the site though!!

Staff was great, room was small but it was expected, pretty view, minutes from the abbey, the only thing to note is that if you are pregnant or overweight you probably won’t be able to pass through the shower's door as they don’t open completely because the bathroom sink is on its way but the shower has great pressure and nice hot water! Breakfast was free and it was super good for me, overall it was great. We love Mont Saint Michel.

Whilst very compact within the confines of the old heritage building, it had everything we needed for our short stay and is ideally located. The staff were professional and friendly. Would stay there again if visiting the Mont.
