Clean room, really comfy large bed with great pillows. Great pool area & indoor pool & gym great too. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Great place and location. Great balcony

Location was fantastic ( especially for us as we were using the casino for a poker festival) . Staff were friendly and you can't really knock the hotel for value! It was a little tired in the room but like I said we got a great deal so I wouldn't complain over small things when your not paying a premium . My biggest issue was although there was a good selection on offer for breakfast no matter what time we went down the buffet always seemed to be warm at best and cold at others so we ended up having breakfast out. Having said that for pure value and location I would still stay again.

Location of the hotel is very convenient - plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. St Julian's bay is close by and the hotel has a rooftop pool and bar as well to enjoy the sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good with a wide spread of fresh fruit, baked items and eggs - scrambled, fried and omelettes on different days.

Very good and clean hotel, did request additional cutlery for the room but never go them, apart from that a very pleasant stay

Alexandra hotel From the first impression the hotel looks like a great hotel. But as soon as you check in, you start to see a different perspective. The bedroom area: The room was ridiculously small for the caliber of hotel advertised. There were tiny side tables that barely fit a phone. There was no room to navigate around the bed. A useless desk that had drawers too small for any use and a wardrobe (with its sliding doors that would not work) was too large for the room and unnecessary for hotel stays. If you wanted to turn only one lamp on the side of the bed, all of the room lights went on with it. So, you were forced to function in complete darkness or had full light. We used our phone lights to go to the bathroom so that we wouldn’t wake each other in the middle of the night. The bathroom; There was no shower door to keep the water in while you showered. No matter how careful you were, the tiny bathroom flooded each time. An extremely dangerous situation. You could see mold where there was once a shower door? There was the tiniest sink I have ever seen with no shelves or any space to set up your toiletries. (And they had no hotel toiletries, only a gross soap dispenser, with God-knows-what in it) The walls were so thin that you could hear doors slam all night long and loud partying going on outside until 3:00 am. But the worst was the forced control of the temperature setting and you could not adjust it. We ended up turning it off and opening the tiny balcony’s do

Clean room, staff very friendly.

The only good thing about this hotel it is its location. The venue opposite of it plays very loud music and the rooms are not soundproof. The cleaning staff started slamming doors at 7am, so impossible to get a good night sleep. Staff it’s also not the friendliest, not even returning a good morning. They don’t really seem to care about having you as a guest. I was also not able to have a visitor, which they say is prohibited. I won’t definitely not stay on this property again.

The rooms were very dated and need a complete makeover, The breakfast was cold 6 out of 7 morning's The facilities were not open ,the heated pool was not working Overall we were very disappointed in the hotel and they had the cheek to ask for a €150 deposit for breakages. We will not be going back to the hotel and i think your representative needs to go back to the horel and see for there self, it is clearly not a 3star hotel

Good hotel if you’re just wanting somewhere close and easy to all the bars and clubs. We stayed for 5 nights. Our bedding was never changed and neither were our towels. We got pool towels but if we wanted fresh ones it was $2. Some staff were lovely and others were a bit rude and abrupt. Rooftop pool was freezing so never went in. The gym had the heating on so it was very sweaty and nowhere to fill up a bottle of water. Breakfast was alright, good selection.

Staff not friendly and air conditioning did not work well. Nice pool bar and hotel room but wouldn’t stay again.

Positive: Hotel over all looks decent from first impressions… Staff are polite, which is always nice… Rooms are large with lots of lighting… Negative: Balcony door didn’t work properly. Very difficult to open. Door grinding on metal frame… Dirty towels on floor at balcony and bathroom, thrown all over the place. No L

Our room was a lot worse than the one in the photo and we were supposed to have booked an upgrade. The window faced a small internal patio with machinery that made a constant loud humming noise. It was very clean and breakfast was nice.

Lobby:Air conditioned and clean. Places to sit and someone sat in the day to assist with excursions. Pool:No where when booking is it explained that the indoor pool would be unusable for a few hours on both Saturday and Sunday and a couple days in the week.The sauna and hot tub did not work.The room was very warm and the pool heated.There was a grime line around the pool water line and black build up in multiple places (pictured).Pool towels provided free of charge. Room:No welcome pack, with info about the hotel etc. Phone did not work, nor were we provided with any contact details.No do not disturb sign so cleaners would often get into the room before you could run to the door to ask them to come back later.Very basic furniture but was fine.Air conditioning did not work properly. It was on non stop throughout our stay and didn’t get below 25 degrees. It wasn’t too hot to sleep but would have preferred it to be cooler.Balcony had a view of the sea, just about.There is two bars at either side of the hotel so it is very noisy in the evenings if you wanted to sit out.There is building work going on in the day so noisy in the day to sit out.The bathroom was very dirty (pictured).Fresh towels daily, very basic towels.No fresh soap/toiletries provided.Fridge is provided and just about kept things cool but not cold.
