What a DREAM stay! Book it now! It was so relaxing, beautiful and perfect in every way! We loved the pools, sun loungers and breathtaking ocean views! Delicious breakfast each morning, nice gym for a workout, and the property had us saying “WOW” our whole stay! The staff was so kind and accommodating! We will be back! Thank you El Faro Hotel!

We liked : the views , the heated swimming pool , the gardens , close by national park , decoration of the hotel including the furnishings , the staff service , the lunch and dinner in the restaurant , available hot drinks Didn't like the high price of the food in the hotel and the same free breakfast evey day only option ( paying option available) . Considering the price for a stay at the hotel one would expect things like snorkeling sets , canoes , kettle .

When paying such a high amount and when breakfast is included, it is weird to see that there is an extras menu for breakfast that you have to pay for.

I liked the clear sea water, the cleanliness, the quietness. Overall it was a good experience, but it was like in the middle of nowhere. You had to drive at least 20-30 min to find a town or restaurant. Also, at the end of our stay they made some mistakes regarding extra fees, such as they asked me to pay for a canoe I had never used. If you plan for a quiet vacation, it is the right one. If you plan for a lively one, that’s not the right one. one,

Great hotel. Love the location and the layout of the property. The hotel staff was very professional and helpful in all areas (front desk, restaurant, bar). Excellent restaurant with good selection and very good quality food. We look forward to returning in the future and recommend without hesitation.

The dining staff are a five star for sure. Friendly and fun. But the hotel need some help. The outdoor area is a little run down. The spa was actually the thing that brought the rating down a lot. The spa was filthy. The services were disjointed and not relaxing. They were not professional spa therapists. I had my massage and scrub before my thelaso experience - and they didn’t ask me to use soap to remove oils. Just gross. So I’m sitting in water with everyone else’s body oils and you can tell. It smelt like dirty socks. There were insects in the steam room and the smell was so bad I couldn’t stay in there. The Dead Sea salt bath had lots of stuff floating in it. It was also gross. I got in and had to get out. It had black mould all around it. I actually felt sick. I would not use the spa. And if I thought the front desk actually cared I would have asked for refund. But I get the impression they are there just to make money. I was told on numerous occasion that the drinking water was not safe. But the hotel does not supply drinking water!!! They charge you 3 euro for a small bottle. It’s astounding. Considering the number of beautiful spots on this island I would take your money elsewhere.

This was our 3rd spot on our two-week trip to Sardinia in May 2024. This place was fabulous. Very elegant, perfect setting, great food, wonderful pools, access to the Mediterranean, highly recommend.

Hotel was beautiful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The surrounding scenery was stunning. We rented the hotel car, which was an easy process and a reasonable price and great to have the freedom to explore as there wasnt a great deal nearby. We didnt use the spa, but the two outside pools were lovely and the sunbeds were great quality and comfortable. We ate at the a la carte restaurant once and it was absolutely lovely food with great service and matched the slightly higher price. The only negative we had of our stay was the lunch at the pool bar on one of the days. We both ordered ceaser salad, which was expensive and basically consisted of a pile of iceburg lettuce, one cherry tomato, a drizzle of dressing and then some thin sliced chicken and cheese. We also two cocktails (10 euros each) which were very basic and not the best - strangest mojito we'd ever seen! The lunch aside, could not reccommend this hotel more. Clean, beautiful, helpful staff, comfortable rooms. A+ !! Would come back again in a heartbeat!

The view was stellar. Room nice and clean with a great balcony. Parking was easy, ( for Italy that’s a big deal ). Pools very nice and clean. Staff at the pool bar were great. Negatives, they are expensive for food and drinks. One of the pool people, ( lower pool ), was on a power trip. Breakfast was great except that do they don’t know how to make eggs that are edible. Overal, great. Would return.
