When you arrive, you were greeted via young man at the front desk. I can’t remember his name, but he was the most helpful person and was extremely eager to help us in all our requests. The property is beautiful. It feels like an oasis.

We loved our stay at Pateo dos Solares, rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always with a smile and breakfast was also lovely.

Good points: Beautiful grounds. Staff was excellent. Good breakfast options. Needs some upgrades: Bathroom in desperate need of renovation. Parking situation is inadequate.

The place is an old ducal palace like a posada but more reasonable price. I wondered around the gardens and pool area, well kept. Lots of other services I did not partake in. Good secure parking, pleasant sitting area near the bar with a very good painting of bulls . Breakfast was good. Only complaint was that the season changed the air conditioning to winter although the outside temperature was near 30, and the window could not be opened , so the room was quite warm for sleeping,

Beautiful setting. The indoor pools were an amazing surprise. The staff was wonderful. Clean and quiet. Very relaxing.

Everything is amazing. The only problem is that the Restaurant only opens sometimes. And there’s no Food available nearby.
