Nice larger hotel. Parking is a challenge in Ålesund. We were fortunate to find a spot in lot next to hotel (needed to install app and pay (about $26/day) Good location and many good food options in area.

Staff were helpful. Room was clean in bed was comfortable had a view overlooking the water. The only downside was when the cruise ship would park there. It was a little noisy, but didn’t last long.

The location and breakfasts were great and the front desk staff was very helpful and accomodating.

Clean hotel, fridge and tea kettle in room, excellent front desk service, good food for breakfast buffet and dinner.

Parking was quite limited I had to park more than a block down but the stay was good, staff was great, the location was great as well by the water.

Excellent choice for anyone arriving in Alesund by ferry as the hotel is right next to the ferry terminal. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Very helpful staff. Easy walking distance to bus station.

Good hotel

Our reserved room was moved for a wedding party. Our new room had a view of the roof, which echoed when the cigarette smokers partied and yelled when on the cell phone. We were told that the wedding party was Only in one wing of the hotel, which was not true because we saw them two rooms down from us. I do not know if our reserved room also had a poor view. We did not ask. In our room was a case box for a mini fridge but it was missing or stolen or otherwise not present. Trash was on the roof. In the WC was some red on the ceiling which is consistent with intravenous drug use. We left it alone. We decided to leave early due to all of these issues. Additionally, our room had supplies to make coffee and tea, but no spoons were provided. I suppose that hardy Norwegians stir their hot beverages with their finger.

Functional but not very welcoming. Sterile and a tour bus stop. Very convenient to get to the boats for the fjord trips
