Nice clean and modern facility. Location to central Dublin was good. Staff were very professional. Only stayed one night but would highly recommend this hotel.

We checked in late ay night and the person at the front desk was not kind, not rude but not friendly or nice. The 3 person room was a nice idea but the room was small and awkwardly situated. 3 adults with luggage and personal belongings made the room feel even smaller. The balcony was wasted space and the door was impossible to get open. We had no control over the temp and the bathroom had no fan so it was not easy for all of us to get ready in the morning. The day after check in our keys didn't work after breakfast so we had to get them re-issued with no explanation as to why. The morning we left, we tried calling the front desk to let them know we were expecting a ride to the airport and we couldn't get thru. When we got to the lobby I tried telling the gentleman our troubles and he didn't seem to understand or care. We had one positive experience with a staff member the morning we checked out. I regret not getting his name but he was at the restaurant checking room numbers for breakfast.

Room was spotless, from reception to restaurant staff are very courteous, Ivan The Manager resolved an issue with a complimentary.

Third stay in this excellent hotel. Great location, room is large, comfortable and modern. Staff are friendly and efficient. Always my number one choice when I visit Dublin.

Staff lovely, breakfast very good

The staff were very friendly, the parking garage next to the hotel was easy to park in. The property and room were both clean. The room was stocked with coffee, tea, milk & sugar. The area was good for public transport and the Jameson Distillery is right across the street. The only issue I had was we paid to have the balcony room and unfortunately got one that was adjoined to the residential living connected to the hotel and we were unable to use our balcony because of the smell and infestation of flies from the neighbors balcony. The resident was a heavy smoker and cigarette butts and old cups filled with stale cigarettes covered the other side of the balcony. A bit disappointing but out of the hotels control. Overall the location was convenient, hotel was clean and parking was easy.

The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony, which was great to step out and get fresh air. Hotel is conveniently located close to dining option.

The room was clean, but a bit rundown.

A welcoming experience from start to finish! The staff were accommodating to our every request, housekeeping cleaned our room each day and left bottles of water. The in house restaurant breakfast buffet was delicious and reasonably priced! The location of Maldron Smithfield is prime for walking to all the local sights and multiple options for public transportation. I highly recommend this hotel and location!

While our initial room smelled ofnsmokez the staff was able to accommodate us and get us a much nicer room. We did not get the breakfast

The room was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The location was cool and was easy to walk to different tourist locations while not being crowded by tourists.

Breakfast was good and a full Irish including white pudding, on the whole very nice! Room was very good but toilet was a challenge to flush properly but in all other aspect was good for the time we were there. Red route tram was about 6 mins walk away and was 4 € for a return trip into town.
