I had an excellent stay at MS Vila Nova. The hotel is clean, well maintained, quiet, and very comfortable. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. Everything felt organised and easy, which made the stay stress-free. The facilities are solid and deliver great value. What truly stands out, however, is the level of service, particularly from Raquel at reception. She operates at an exceptionally high customer service standard. From the first interaction, she was calm, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her communication is clear and reassuring, and she has a natural ability to make guests feel comfortable and valued. It is evident that Raquel knows her role inside out. She works with confidence, efficiency, and precision, while maintaining a warm and approachable manner. She anticipates needs, handles requests smoothly, and ensures everything runs seamlessly. Her presence alone elevates the entire guest experience. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel is excellent, but Raquel’s professionalism is what makes it truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

Just ok, but they needed to update on lot of Things for example, They didn't have a coffee pot a little fridge. The breakfast was not really the greatest.

Clean and comfortable room in a good location. Nice pillows and linens. The thin spring-style mattresses in the twin room seem due to be updated. The hotel itself was very quiet for a Saturday night however a building or car alarm in a nearby street sounded all night long. Odd that police or security could not have put an end to it for the benefit of guests in this hotel, the nearby hotel and really the entire neighbourhood.

We prepaid and received a confirmation email for an ocean view balcony room for 3 nights. The hotel over booked and refused to honor our reservation.

Liked this property because it was close to everything.the staff was very helpful.food was good . The swimming pool we enjoyed. Would stay and recommend it .

Was 8.6 on hotels.com in 2020 and that will likely not improve to 9/10 anytime soon. Lacks polish.

Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Good location - walking distance to a couple of good restaurants and close proximity to airport.

Check-in was simple and friendly staff at front desk and bar. The location is very walkable to the town center. Front desk arranged an early taxi to the airport which was much appreciated. Disappointed in the pool hours and the beds (had a triple room) were very uncomfortable.

I visited this property for the first time in February 2025 it was beautiful really nice staff I go to Portugal a lot and stay at hotels but this was the best one I ever nice it’s only a four minute walk from the city highly recommended thank you s much I felt I was at home .

Front staff needs to be a little more friendly and acknowledge their guests
