We prepaid and received a confirmation email for an ocean view balcony room for 3 nights. The hotel over booked and refused to honor our reservation.

Liked this property because it was close to everything.the staff was very helpful.food was good . The swimming pool we enjoyed. Would stay and recommend it .

Was 8.6 on hotels.com in 2020 and that will likely not improve to 9/10 anytime soon. Lacks polish.

Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Good location - walking distance to a couple of good restaurants and close proximity to airport.

Check-in was simple and friendly staff at front desk and bar. The location is very walkable to the town center. Front desk arranged an early taxi to the airport which was much appreciated. Disappointed in the pool hours and the beds (had a triple room) were very uncomfortable.

I visited this property for the first time in February 2025 it was beautiful really nice staff I go to Portugal a lot and stay at hotels but this was the best one I ever nice it’s only a four minute walk from the city highly recommended thank you s much I felt I was at home .

Front staff needs to be a little more friendly and acknowledge their guests

A coffee maker in the room would have been nice

From a friendly, funny welcome to a seamless checkout in the middle of the night to catch my flight, MS Vila Nova was outstanding in every way.

Our room was absolutely wonderful, very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the airport and a few minute walking distance from the downtown area. Near everything. The staff was wonderful and we even got complimentary wine and Natas. An absolute delight stay.

Pretty amazing - personalized note and treats in room. Mostly fantastic staff too. The gut at reception could learn a bit about customer service and moving the way to pay inside the breakfast buffet could help, but overall verym good.

I did like everything and the staff were very nice,friendly and helpful. The only thing I miss was a mini fridge to put some water.

Still waiting to hear back from the manager regarding an issue, it has been over a week now.
