The hotel is situated at a convenient and central location for Acireale. There is everything you might need nearby and a pretty little park just across the street. The room was clean and well made, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated having an empty minibar fridge. The one thing I am unhappy with is the lack of availability in the hotel's parking. I booked three rooms at this hotel because we were 6 people due to arrive in 2 cars and parking was important to us. The amenities of the hotel listed free parking before I booked. Low and behold, we arrived late in the evening only to be told by hotel staff that the parking had to be prearranged and that I should have had to warn them in advance I needed parking because they only had 10 spaces which were all occupied at the time of our arrival. Nowhere during or after the booking process was I warned of having to warn the hotel about needing parking, nor did it cross my mind considering it listed parking as free. I had even read other people's reviews who were all happy about the parking and no word of warning was uttered. I checked my bookng email confirmation and, again, I found nothing to this effect. I found this a dishonest practice and I would recommend you get in touch with the hotel to secure parking beforehand as it does mean you have to roam the streets to find a free or paid parking space.

This hotel was exactly what I needed. Lovely and comfortable inside, beautiful park across the street, private parking which I badly wanted, and such a friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast too.

I wouldn't give this hotel more than 3 stars. location is good but the hotel is quiet old and lacks facilities. the car park is small and always full (we had to park the car on the street bc the hotel car park was full). breakfast was poor too. I personally won't stay at this place if I come back to Sicily.

Super easy check in with free underground parking. Location was perfect and breakfast was tasty

Location is really good, close to Piazza Duomo, only few minutes walk. Lots of restaurants nearby. Triple room is pretty good, but wifi is sometimes stop in my room. Breakfast is just ok, not much choices. The man receptionist is very nice and helpful. He find me the way to Mt. Etna and Taormina and tell us us where to park the car. Very polite and helpful guy. The hotel has a carpark for guest which is free. But I doubt in high season cause not much spaces to park. Overall the hotel is nice and good to stay. Rocommended.

Good hotel and friendly staff. Convenient location if you want to explore areas around / near Catania. However it does need modernising, the decor is very dated and the pillows were hard! Overall pleasant hotel.

we enjoyed our stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was a bathtub that would have been easier to get in and out of. There was also some peeling paint in the bathroom.

This is my second trip. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast provided by the hotel is generous and delicious. I will always book this hotel when I am In town.

This is a really nice place to stay for a vacation week. Staff are proffesional, breakfast was sufficient and location pretty good. Houskeeping was making sure everyday of our room condition level.

No wifi except in bathroom. One working outlet. Lights on timer didn't function well. Nowhere to put anything in bath. Had to balance toiletries on waste can. Shower so small nearly unusable. Breakfast uninspiring. Location good and room clean.

After reading all the reviews, we were excited to stay here and couldn't wait to experience carnival 2015. The experience was a huge disappointment from start to finish. The day before our arrival I emailed the hotel asking about transportation/directions from the bus stop, carnival activities and views from the hotel. I received no response to my email. Upon arrival at the hotel after traveling all the way from Palermo for the Carnival events, we were told that Carnival was cancelled due to the rain. They refused to refund our reservation or allow us to cancel our booking. Since we came to Acireale just for the Carnival events, the front desk suggested a warehouse we could visit 25 mins away where we could view the paper mâché floats. They also recommended a restaurant for lunch along the way. After walking to both in the rain, both sites were completely closed. Our room (a superior room #114) was dated. The pillow case had a stain on it. The bathroom light goes off after 2 minutes automatically- not ideal when you are showering or using the bathroom. The walls were thin an you could hear everything happening downstairs in the lobby and restaurant. Our balcony had a crazy metal covering over the window. We couldn't get it back down once we managed to pull it up so the light from the street kept us up all night. Skip it.

Stayed here for one night during our recent tour of Sicily. Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice with a balcony overlooking the small Piazza at the front of the hotel. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with toiletries and a good shower. Parking at a small car park at the hotel, which was very convenient. Easy walk to town. We ate in the hotel restaurant as we could not find anywhere open locally for dinner, which was nice, although not a great deal of choice. Good breakfast with a wide choice. Would recommend.

The hotel is situated at the edge of a small square in Acireale, within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. The staff were very professional and helpful. The reception desk was always manned and the receptionists were happy to help with suggestions for local restaurants. Our room was comfortable and impeccably clean. The hotel was quiet, with a calm, well-maintained air about it. I would thoroughly recommend it.

This was a last minute booking,due to our original hotel being canceled what a great choice,will definitely stay there again
