Good: Beautiful building and rooms. Staff were friendly and professional. Wonderful breakfast with eggs cooked to order. The chef was great. Can be improved: Swimming pool was pleasant though I noticed the ceiling should be cleaned. No tea or coffee in the room. At such a high level hotel, I would expect to have a cup of coffee. They had nice chess tables next to the billiards with drawers for pieces but no pieces for them. It would have been nice to play a game of chess on the large chess tables.

We had a wonderful stay everything was great, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful.

5 star hotel no coffe machine in the room. They not change towels every day. They not change sheets. no shampoo. you have to pay everything in the hotel. Sauna, tennis court.

I would stay there again. Very relaxing, if you want just a chilled night.

Great weekend stay to get to know the spa town of Marianske Lazne

The staff are nice. I booked a king size bed, but was given a full size or close to queen. My friend is 205 cm, the comforter and bed were too short. They didn't offer free Sauna with the hotel stay. You have to pay extra for sauna, which I find a little bit unreasonable considering paying for the hotel stay. Many other hotels have pool and sauna included in price. Walking to city was ok. Breakfast was good with nice view.

Impeccable Hotel

Beautiful place and location. Staff friendly and helpful, but some spa services limited staff and availability, best to plan ahead and reserve times, but staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good, housekeeping good laundry very good service. Small playground a little overgrown, but hotel overall a very nice experience.

Truly a GRAND DAME of the gilded age - a STUNNING Hotel - we were kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite and the experience was EXCEPTIONAL - A 5 star experience - and although ONLY 2 room of 89 were occupied you would never have known as we were treated with all the amenities one would expect ! My sincere THANK YOU to such a wonderfully trained staff !

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly, and our room was comfortable, roomy and very clean. The meals were great and the hotel is well located.

It feels like you are on a castle. Location is excellent and unique. Strongly recommend. Just be careful of your personal belongings during Spa Treatments.

I prepaid a suite 50sqm. Firstly they offered me to stay in a 25 sqm room no shower or balcony. I was unhappy :( Apologies... mistake ...then offered a better room but still not what I prepaid! Because there was an event...the hotel decided to downgrade my prepaid room!!!! Terrible sorry.... but beside their regrets nothing.

I just would like to mention that when we arrive and during the check in ( or any other matter at the reception) there’s this lady playing beautifully the piano, but, it’s extremely loud and we can barely understand one each other.

This was really a 5 star experience without a 5 star price. Everything here exceeded our expectations. Staff in all areas were super attentive. Front Desk staff was always available and super efficient and friendly. This atmosphere was definitely carried throughout the whole property. Staff everywhere was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent, as were restaurant meals. The selection of food was wide at each venue. The eating facilities had large capacity, but, were broken into smaller areas. This gave each section it's own intimate feel. The Spa facilities and staff were professional and friendly. The Spa choices and variety were extensive. The Thai Massages were great. I had two and my daughter had one. She also had a facial and other appointments. I had a bad sore throat when we arrived. They even had a Nurse that helped me and was able to supply tablets that have resolved the issue. Our room was large and very comfortable. Everything was old world decor, but, was very fresh. My daughter and I stayed for three nights after a conference. We cannot wait to return with my wife. We had no need to leave the facility during our stay. We were also fortunate to arrive at peak fall colors. This made all of our views breathtaking. Although English was hard for some, this did not slow the staff down in helping us. If they had any doubts, they got on the phone with the front desk for translation assistance. This Czech experience was great.

Big groups’ luggage carried by bell boys with client’s elevator instead of service elevator. Eventually the tired engine overheats and fourth floor looks a bit too far.

This is one fabulous resort hotel. The service is excellent, the building is beautiful, and the setting is great. I was looking for a place to relax for a weekend and this was perfect. The hotel staff gladly arranged golf for me (with a slight discount). Breakfast is outstanding, especially when you consider the great view from the dining room. Rooms are very large by European standards and (I believe) each room has its own jacuzzi. I was alone. I would suggest that the resort would be even better for couples.
