The Palace Hotel Herviz is a good solid nice place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. I love the glass elevators. The staff were friendly and efficient. Only downside for me is they charge a delivery charge for room service which I wouldn't expect from a 4 star hotel...so I ordered food delivered from Wolt

Well located in the central shopping area and a beautiful 10minute walk through the shops and treelined pathway to the lake.

Nice hotel. Staff are not particularly friendly. Perhaps it is a cultural thing, but they staff don't smile and look rather sullen. They are not particularly helpful either and most don't speak English. I had paid extra for dinner and as I am a vegan I asked for a vegan option and was told that they don't do anything separate for vegans and I would just have to do with their buffet which is 98% vegan unfriendly. If they could have stuffed the fruit with meat, I'm sure they would have. The food consisted of loads and loads of different meat dishes and a little lettuce, tomato and a mushroom salad. That was the sum total of vegan food. With the exception of one waiter, none of the staff speak English in the dining room As for the massage...if you like an oil rub and you find it relaxing, the I suppose it is okay. The woman doing the "massage" knew nothing about muscles, pressure or how to apply it. A back and head massage converted into a rub of shoulder blades that went nowhere near your back or head. I stopped the massage halfway through but was still charged. If you leave your room later than 10.30, don't expect your bed/room to be serviced. The hotel is clean and pleasant but don't expect too much in terms of service.

This is my second stay at this hotel. Location is good, and the service is courteous. The only disappointment this time around was food. It was not as nearly good as before.

I paid for parking and city tax (theft) and the next morning at checkout I had to pay again the next morning ..... they had no record of me paying and I have a bad habit of throwing away receipts.

This Hotel is walking distance from lake Hévíz. The hotel is pretty from the outside and looks new inside. The food was good. The room was nice, we enjoyed our stay.

Very good spa hotel The best location

I was looking forward to a 4* Spa Hotel for my wife and our son. When i called the Hotel to arrange something the receptionist was really rude. When we checked in again the man behind the reception was again rude showed no customer service what so ever. The food was terrible and we had to pay for our own drinks even the table water. The rooms were nice but the A/C / Heating was really noisy and the curtains where no point being there as they didnt cover past the bottom of the window seal. Communal areas are all nice. Again on the last day to check out I went to ask to settle my bill and had to ask 3 times to show me my invoice before I paid. He kept just telling me the price, and again did not ask about our stay, say good morning / afternoon or even smile. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone unless you have money to waste for a supposedly 4* hotel. I would say it was more of a 2/3* Hotel with a 1* service.

Fantastic hotel, amazing buffet selection

The hotel was quite nice and is located in the center of Heviz. The breakfast was quite good as was the dinner I took on the half board option. The only negative I had was the underground parking, the card scanner failed often and the spaces were too small.
