Excellent location in the old town and walkable to everywhere you will need as a tourist. The staff were fabulous and we had a coupe of cocktailsn in the bar which were superb. The only reason I didn’t give a 5star is the config of the bedroom. It was odd to have the hand basin in the bedroom and not part of a bathroom. The shower was in its own room and the toilet was also in its own room. A little strange but we got used to it in the end. I would definitely come back and stay here when in Riga next.

Lady on reception amazing. Very friendly. Room superbly clean. Only down side is you face inwards looking at the other rooms but it doesn’t matter much. Breakfast was nice although 25 euros may be a bit expensive. Situation brilliant. In old town easy walking everywhere

Amazing location, clean and lovely rooms, great ambience and the pool and sauna phenomenal. Lots of nice bars and restaurants as well as being right at the old town.

The check-in was great, hotel looked practically still new, and the rooms were fab. Really enjoyed breakfast and the cocktails at the bar too! Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Pros: Overall great place to stay! Breakfast was excellent! Room and beds were good! Cons: Gym was too hot, room was too hot and pool was too cold. No hot shower water one of the evenings.

Very nice and comfortable hotel, perfectly located for exploring the beautiful city of Riga. Clean rooms, great breakfast selection and above all, extremely friendly and efficient staff. Would both recommend and visit again.

Great hotel, friendly staff, nice big clean room with a great bed and nice modern bathroom. Only gripe I have is - the bed side lights are impossible to reach from the bed so you have to get out of bed to turn them off. :)

Incredible hotel, great staff, excellent location.

Excellent hotel right in the centre of Riga old town, handy public parking just behind the hotel. Staff are very friendly and professional and my room was large and lovely with a very modern bathroom and great big bed. I felt for the cleaning staff though as with the snow and ice everyone was bringing in wet muddy boots so a special mention to the maids and cleaners.

The room was spacious and comfortable however lacking in any kind of personality despite how beautiful the original building is. Coffee machine and kettle in the room. The milk capsules in the fridge were sour and we had to request more. The renovation has ensured everything is bland. The front desk staff were lovely but did not know the answers to many simple questions. Taxis cannot pull up immediately in front of the hotel as it’s in a government controlled area. The pool and sauna were nice but reception couldn’t even tell us if towels were available. They were! Light broken in the ladies changing room shower. Finally breakfast. On first sight the buffet looks great. However, the food is obviously laid out early in the morning and not covered. Consequently bread and pastries were hard, sauces had developed a skin on them. Hot food was barely tepid. We complained about this 3 times to 3 different people both in the restaurant and at reception but it made no difference. You could also order hot food such as omelettes and eggs benedict - this did come a bit hotter but two days running the hollandaise on the eggs benedict was tepid and curdled. To be honest, we were expecting a lot better from this hotel. There are so many hotels in Riga to choose from so this will not be one I would return to or recommend
