The stay was amazing , the girl at reception was very helpfull. The only issue we had the television remote wasn't working .

Convenient location near the old town and beach, and reasonable rates. However, don't expect too much. The room was basic and clean but needed updating. It had no air conditioning, and the hot water for the shower was cool. The shower head holder and loo flush button were loose / broken, and the continental breakfast was basic. Overall the hotel was just about ok given it's star rating, and the staff were great.

Awful hotel AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! When booking they state to email or call beforehand to arrange late check in if after 8pm, I emailed as soon as booked for a reply to say to email again on the day of arrival, I did this, as well as WhatsApping and calling, they ignored and then refused to check us in! They then put us down as a ‘no show’ cancelling the rest of our stay and refusing to refund any money back!!! This left us on the street in the middle of a foreign country the first night and then had to try and find someone to stay the rest of of our holiday and pay again despite not getting any money back for our booked stay with this hotel! On top of this, the staff were so rude, laughing in our faces when we were left stranded!!! Wouldn’t wish what happened to us on our worst enemy!!!

Mold smell in the room 1 fist floor

J’ai été prévenue 6 jours avant que l’établissement ne pouvait honorer ma réservation. On m’a proposé un nouvel hôtel mais j’ai dû appeler de moi même à l’étranger pour savoir comment obtenir le voucher et comment faire une fois sur place. Par curiosité j’ai fait une simulation de réservation dans cet hôtel qui était moins cher que l’hôtel de Gale et de moindre qualité. À aucun moment on ne m’a proposé le remboursement de la différence. Je suis déçue du service !

This hotel is clean and comfortable and very cheap the free breakfast was good and the view is amazing I would stay again for this price I don’t understand all the bad reviews you get what you paid for it did the job for us

Good value for money

This property is a con. AVOID WITH ALLLL COST. They happy to take your money. But not willing to provide a service. Dont bother emailing them. Deliberately dont answer so they can avoid allowing you to checkin. Then blame you for missing checkin. Expedia email to help you try get money back.... but No still down nearly £800. No1 is willing to take liabilities. So AVOID AVOID

Very clean room, well maintained. Lots of up and down steps throughout the property, but manageable. Very poor breakfast choices. Could have done better there. Well appointed for the walk to the beach and old town.

Staff was friendly only complaints no air-conditioning and the beds were uncomfortable

Stairs, stairs everywhere. Tripped on tile busted my arm and head. Very hard trying to get suitcases in and out and no help getting them to your room . Shower drain was plugged up with hair and creating a near bath at the bottom.

Horrible, we left immediately.

From the checking in too checking out this was the worst hotel i ever stayed.The room we order was absolutely the wrong one on the picture advertising. The room was so cramped we could hardly move . The room was very poorly decorated with the worst bed and bedsheets.No air conditioning.we had to pay over 500 euros To upgrade the room . False advertising

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Great staff to welcome you, breakfast was awesome with a unique view over the surrounding bay. Beds were comfy, 5 minute walk to the old town with some cafes and bars on the way. A perfect place for a few days. Thank you Hotel De Gale

Hotel ruim, para chegar à recepção tem que descer quase 20 degraus com malas . Para acessar os quartos também tem que subir e descer escadas. Quartos sem ventilador , calor terrível . Cama ruim, colchões velhos e irregulares . Local de café da manhã com pouco espaço, para tomar café no terraço tem que passar por cima de uma janela . Banho frio pela manhã . Toalhas são trocadas a cada 3 dias . Mobilia velha e desgastado. Janelas com trincos precários. Para usar o cofre do quarto tem que pagar ( em outros hotéis é grátis ) . Não recomendo a ninguém
