My flight had a late arrival time into Jerez Airport and my ultimate destination was Cadiz. So I opted to stay the night in El Peurto de Santa Maria at this converted Bodega. I am glad I did.
Whilst the (standard) twin room was a little spartan - the bathroom was excellent, it had all the basics. I was happy with the room and the view over the central courtyard.
The impressive retaurant was open until late and I had a really enjoyable meal at a very reasonable price. The buffet continental breakfast was also good. For those who want it, there is a swimming pool and sunbathing on the roof.
Every member of staff was excellent and the location is just what I wanted - an easy 20 minutes into the centre of the town and 10 minutes from the railway station to Cadiz / Seville.
I enjoyed my overnight stay and would stay again.
9/10 would be a fair mark.
