We loved our time in Maiori and at HSF. The staff was wonderful— shout out to Angelo who was an absolute pleasure and made our trip unforgettable! The front desk employees were incredibly nice and helpful for us as first time Italy goers and were able to answer any questions we had about travel / buses / etc. The room was clean and had soap, AC, refrigerator, safe, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the water with chairs and a small table. The biggest things I would note about this property are that there is a “beach fee” to use the pool + beach every day - very affordable (I think ~ €30 ? / day but I’m not totally sure) but that includes a spot at the beach with 2 chairs, a small table, umbrella, and towels. The pool is also located across the street from the hotel but it is attached to a wonderful beach-side / pool-side bar / snack bar.

The hotel is really nice and very well situated. It was easy to jump on the ferry, and we did the lemon hike, which was amazing. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and the staff were fantastic. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return on another holiday.

We loved this hotel! The lobby and rooms are beautiful and clean. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable! So many delicious options. The staff was amazing and kind. We walked the path of the lemons from Maiori to Minori. The concierge picked us up and took us back to the hotel. For 30 euros you can rent beach chairs and a cabana across the street. Maiori was the perfect last stop along the Amalfi Coast. I would highly recommend.

Room was nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was lovely. We were meant to have a sea view but we were on the second floor so the view was a partial sea view at best as there is a building between the hotel and the sea front. We also had an issue with the shower overflowing which reception said they had looked into and sorted but it was a problem for our whole stay. Generally our stay we good 👍

Really close to the beach and the staff members were all amazing! Maiori is great as we can walk around everywhere and truly experience the sea and local dining options.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Francesco and would happily return. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach and perfectly positioned for exploring Maiori and the rest of the Amalfi Coast. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities were great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing, making it a fantastic base for our holiday. We particularly appreciated the convenient access to the beach, restaurants, and ferry connections. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. While there was a good selection of traditional Italian breakfast items, we would have liked to see more continental options such as additional savoury choices, cheeses, cold meats, eggs, and a wider variety of fresh items. International guests may find the breakfast a little too focused on sweet pastries and typical Italian breakfast foods. Overall, this was a great hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Maiori and the Amalfi Coast.

The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. Being a first time international traveler, they were very patient answering all of my questions and pointing me in the right direction. I believe his name was Danilo… he was an absolute rock star. There was not a moment where he wasn’t creating a memorable experience for all the guests! His ability to switch gears and do whatever it took to accommodate all of my needs was incredible. Thank you so much everyone at Hotel San Francesco!

All around great hotel experience

The hotel has a wonderful staff, who helped us with ferries and food recommendations. The rooms, including the bathroom, are ample and comfortable, have a sitting area outside with partial ocean view. The breakfast was included and amazing. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved staying here with my family and I . my daughter that was eight years old loved it my mother that was 79 years old loved it. Great staff very friendly and helpful. I’m coming back next year to stay here again.

Clean and quiet. Breakfast included was nice to start the day with. The area was quiet but easy to get to the ferry to get to any of the other areas

The location was exactly what we were looking for in accommodations for our vacation trip to the Amalfi Coast. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Our concierge Anglo was absolutely the best. He never stopped working to see that we had everything we needed Amazing!

The stay is very accommodating and the staff was so nice and lovely to us. Lucia is amazing at breakfast and Angelo was a terrific chauffeur. He shared best places to eat as well.

The Hotel San Francesco is a beautiful property located across the main drive in Maiori from the bay. Our room was large and the bathroom and shower were fantastic. I would suggest a room with view of the Mediterranean Sea on the 3rd floor or higher. The staff are professional and friendly and there are many excellent restaurants in walking distance. The main beach view street in Maiori is absolutely charming and the water taxi service to Amalfi is super fun and runs like clockwork. We highly recommend this property and the location.

The San Francesco is a great property, I recommend the ocean view rooms 3rd floor or above. Our room was large and the bathroom and shower was wonderful.
