Great buffet breakfast and dinner. Beautiful beach right outside our door. Live bands, great restaurants right along the boardwalk

the good: very friendly staff, good location however be aware that the beach is full of rocks that can be dangerous to children if there are waves. the sea is beautiful, very clean water. 5* for the lady who greets guests at dinner, incredible attitude and genuine, loved meeting her daily! the bad: room and the furniture is more like a 3 star hotel (although it has some ingenious features like a location for bags under the closet, AC that runs on low when not in the room). the hallways look really bad (no lights or broken lights, broken ceiling). Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything above and next to you, we were lucky that we didn't have noisy guests near us. the food: there's a lot on offer (maybe too much) however the quality of ingredients is questionable, we tried many things and some tasted bad or were very bland. the coffee is simply bad, worse then supermarket coffee - not uncommon in Croatia (we asked for coffee from the bar at an extra price and it tasted exactly the same). The juices at the machine are simply horrible, my suggestion is to remove these altogether. With all this said, there was something OK to eat every day. If management would focus more on quality and less on quantity I'm sure the guests would appreciate it.

Very clean, food nothing special. Suite with two twin bed - there is only one twin bed and sofa.

Lovely view from hotel we had a balcony room. Service good, food good value for the money we paid. 1 hour drive from Pula airport.

Perfect for families - has got it all you need to relax with children. Amazing staff, children activities, food is versatile and great, good vines (abut pretty expensive). Good pools, and very close nearby beaches. One thing that was a bit of a worry - the balcony is designed with a big gap between the floor and the fence in such a way that a child's foot can very easily slip into the gap! If you have small children, be very careful and watch them when on the balcony! They won't fall, but could hurt themselves easily.

The hotel is ideally suited for families with younger children. The catering arrangements ,self service, are rather frenetic and if you leave say your coffee for a couple of minutes it is cleared away. Do not be late for breakfast as they start clearing away very early. If you want fresh orange juice with breakfast or coffee with dinner you have to pay extra ,this surely could be added into the total bill. Not really a hotel for couples and after a stroll in the evening nothing else to do.

This resort is located right on a gorgeous beach with magnificent views. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & it was hard to leave. The accommodation was excellent as was the facility & breakfast. The service was also very good, especially Vera on reception who was happy to meet my needs.

Ocean view is great. However staffs are definitely not that well trained, especially those at the reception desk. They are not only slow, but also fail to provide information needed by most tourists like city map, for example. Since I have to leave early, I asked for a breakfast bag, I end up getting a bag with yogurt and sandwich; no water, no napkin, no spoon or fork. They expect me to such yogurt or what? It is a terrible experience to me.

I went to Hotel & Casa Valamar Sanfior for a long weekend solo holiday. I was immediately delighted with the place, my room was perfect with a sea and pool view and the morning sunsets were just stunning, The pools were fabulous and I seemed to have them to myself the majority of the time. Plus the staff were lovely and made me feel so welome, just loved the place

Not generally a fan of places like this but we loved it. Great staff, fantastic facilities, wonderful beach access. A small issue when checking in was resolved quickly and generously. Rooms were a great size, bright and clean. We didn’t get bored of the half board (although when they say breakfast finished at ten, they start clearing before so don’t be late!) and the beach BBQ was great. Pools were busy and we generally preferred the beach, which was easy to access and v wonderful water. Would totally return.

The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect, comfy beds, amazing pool area, food and drink selection varied and tasty, topped with a beautiful surrounding area! Couldn't fault our stay! Highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is very nice, from our room we were able to look at the Adriatic Sea. The hotel was kept very clean, we could see staff cleaning the pool area every morning. Sitting on a terrace outdoors and looking at the sea while eating breakfast, watching the birds fly around was very charming and relaxing.

Every single member of the staff, from the roomkeeper and poolboy to the head of reception, were exceptionally friendly and professional. I think it's a first for me to have such an experience.

We scheduled the Valamar at the end of our tour of central Europe so we would have time to decompress and relax. This is a great place to do just that! The staff is the crowning jewel of this hotel...maybe even more so than the amazing location on the sea. The front desk staff made sure we were comfortable and were exceptionally knowledgeable on sites to see and directions to get there. Despite a snafu with our room, they did there best to make it up to us. We really appreciated that they made phone calls for us to place reservations. The wait staff was gracious and attentive. I was impressed that they remembered our room number!

Fully recommend this hotel. Located next to the beach and 20-30 mins from Rabac centre. Great facilities for families (kids club) and really friendly / welcoming staff. Food in the buffet is also above average
