The hotel is very dated. There was mould on the shower curtain and around the bath. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable The breakfast was good, however the plates at the breakfast buffet were dirty. I did not realise this was a pet friendly hotel until I was woken up by a dog whimpering in the hallway. A big shout out to the young lady who works front of house. She was extremely helpful and polite and always has a smile on her face. For a budget hotel, it is okay. However there are other franchises in the same price range which provide a more pleasant stay

other guests complaining of bedbugs. Did not see this myself

Generally the room was ok if the bathroom was a little tired and room could have been dusted better, but... -the heating was up very high and couldn't be adjusted so it was far too hot to sleep comfortably - the television didn't pick up any channels - the bath gurgled all night All issues easily fixable but ruined our stay.

Rooms are large and clean albeit a bit dated. Food/drink options were limited - lots of things not available from the menu/bar.

Lovely welcome at reception. Room although a little dated was clean with comfortable beds.

Value for money was decent. Some issues with the toilet plumbing was stressful and room needed a bit more attention to the cleaning prior to occupation. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Good parking.

Room was clean and functional. Only down was that it was ridiculously hot, which made for an uncomfortable night.

Nice clean place, great for the money.

Room and bathroom were very clean. Plenty of tea and coffee. Two bottles of spring water were welcomed. Tv control was not working properly. It seemed to be broken but it’s not a problem for us. Parking was easy and lots of spaces.

Housekeeping didn’t clean our room although we left for the day at 10am and put please clean the room sign on the door. The staff did not understand what brandy was when we asked for it at the bar.
