Lovely hotel, great staff and a lovely stay

Good breakfast excellent swimming pool good choice of restaurants for evening meals modern rooms tastefully decorated whole hotel well maintained

This is a great hotel for a travelling stop over. Super rooms, staff and restaurant. Pool and saunas very nice. Easy and safe parking for cars and motorcycles.

Lovely stay with my two children. Family room was great, nice and spacious. The pool facilities were ok, however the family swim times had changed from the original email sent by the hotel. There were only a few relaxing beds by the pool which were took up. My girls enjoyed the pool despite this. Nice breakfast in the morning. Lovely lady who greeted us asked about allergies and everything was labelled. About 25 mins drive to get into Chester gir shopping. Relaxing stay and safe for me and my children. Would return.

Nice spa hotel, above average food but not outstanding. Spacious quadruple room with good bathroom - although a faulty tap. Dinner was above average. Breakfast was average - limited choice if gluten and or dairy free - only small amount of fruit and no dairy free yogurt, poor quality gluten free bread.

Gem of an hotel, location, amenities, rooms and staff. No complaints at all.

Brilliant stay at the hotel

Lovely Hotel with very helpful staff. Unfortunately we had a night of no sleep. I informed the hotel that I was celebrating my Mother's 80th Birthday. I paid for a deluxe quadruple room for myself my Mother and my Daughter. The room was pleasant but smaller than images on the website and I feel overpriced for the size of room.Also we were kept awake by wedding guests right outside our window making lots of noise and swearing until the early hours! The hotel jnow my mum was celebratin her 80th Birthday and still put is in a room backing onto the car park and Grosvenor suite were roudy wedding gusts were outside arguing amd swearing and being very noisy. I informed the staff the next morning and they said sorry. The staff were lovely but didn't seem to be any managers around to escalate any issues. Lively hotel but very disappointed in the amount i paid for smaller room with Unfortunately no sleep due to other guests.

Went to the Spa for my sisters birthday. The moment you walked in you felt calm as the decor was stunning. Staff so polite always smiling and helpful. Massage fantastic and professional. Massage room serene low lights soft music. Lovely pool. Garden absolutly amazing, tranquil lots of seating. We stayed at the hotel which was ultra clean and tidy. Room fantastic, coffee maker, tea snacks magazines fridge. Decor throught hotel beautiful. Hotel staff always smiling and helpful. Nelsons restaurant Huge portions, fast service. Palm court outstanding food and decor. Also noticed outside pond and picnic area which was beautifully maintained. Great stay. Thankyou

Rooms clean and tidy. Lots of complimentary tea and coffee. Friendly staff. Perfect for access to Chester, Cheshire oaks and Chester Zoo.

Lovely hotel and spa. Great facilities and welcoming staff

Beautiful place in a lovely part of the world. Lakes and ponds with gardens. On-site spa with its own peace gardens with loungers (and waterfall!). The spa is worth a visit alone. Nice room, nice catering (we were at a wedding held onsite). Room had great air on/heating and good brew facilities. The shower and bath was epic for the price we paid. Will absolutely return. Only downside was checking in. I was not acknowledged, so began checking myself in electronically- then I was acknowledged - when I was already half way through. There were no other customers around.

Great room and wonderful experience

We had a wonderful stay for our anniversary & also booked spa treatments which were amazing! The meal was delicious & we sat near Andy the pianist who was fantastic & really made our night special. The room was gorgeous & the bed was really comfortable. The only disappointment was the breakfast buffet, most of the hot food was overdone as it had been sat there too long & needed a top up but even after half an hour, there was no top up. Then when we had finished breakfast, we noticed that a lot of people were having food made to order, eg omelettes, eggs Benedict etc… we did not have a menu on our table & none of the waiters informed us of this?…

What a lovely stay,we had our wedding reception here 33 years ago and returned to celebrate our anniversary. Can not fault the staff,room or food. Thanks

Not enough lift facilities at the premises

The hotel was very good. I would recommend it for anyone looking to visit Chester as it was a 10 minute drive away.
