Fabulous place and great revamped spa

Stayed for one night here with a friend . I cannot fault either staff or hotel as we had a lovely time . Food and drinks were lovely . If I had to have one downside it was the £25 you need to pay for use of the pool and spa facilities for 2hours . We did use this and it was beautiful but I still feel it’s a bit much . But a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location and staff couldn’t do enough for you .

Can’t fault anything about this hotel. Beautiful location. Staff amazing. Bed super comfy. Shower very powerful and breakfast lovely.

The hotel and stay itself were extremely pleasant. We have stayed here a number of times and have never been let down, until now. We decided to dine at the restaurant and were met with very poor service. This is not what we expected as we have experienced great service at the other amenities in the hotel previously. With the price of food, the quality of both the service and food itself were not up to scratch.

The staff were very helpful, had a lovely visit. I would stay there again.

Must have been given the worst room in the property overlooking a wall and air conditioning units at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the restaurant awful “view”, and noisy. Have to book to use the spa which i did on arrival only to be told when i went there that there is a £25 fee per person per day to use it, even if you just want the pool! Needless to say facility was not used but they still tried to bill me saying there was a cancellation fee and a manager will have to agree not to charge….Discussed with receptionist who says all third party booking sites mention there is a fee and upon trawling the site this can be found in fees and policies. Level of advertising the spa facility on the site and not to mention the fee is akin to the hiding of commission in the car finance scandal, it’s mentioned, but only if you go searching. No guest directory or room service menu in room. Mentioned to receptionist who says she would order room service for me. Had to point out again I had no menu. Provided with menu so back to room to choose. Tried to order from room, phone not working. Back to reception who placed the order. Food overpriced and when came to check out have been overcharged for the price that was on the menu but was too incensed by being charged for the spa paid & left. Room cup chipped. Breakfast, 1st day eggs benedict, disappointment continued. 3rd day Scottish breakfast, lovely. Yipee! Restaurant staff lovely & a nice view. Good towels, nice shower.

Property was more than adequate for what i wanted . staff were friendly

On arrival staff were friendly enough, however there was no directions given for breakfast or the spa or any extra possible amenities. The room wasn't in the main building but to the side which is much less well maintained and looks worn. The bedroom was clean and nicely laid out. The sheets and

We had a lovely stay at Gleddoch. Food was great and we loved using the spa facilities indoors and outdoors with amazing views. All staff were friendly and helpful but special mention to Rebecca who we met at Reception she actually helped us to book again for September.

I cant believe you have to pay to use the Spa facilties at a Spa Hotel NOT STATED ON HOTELS.COM Also no kettle in room, cracked floor tiles in bathroom (Junior Suite as well) and having work done the work men started at 7:50 REALLY NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL

Disappointed with the food, it was ok but a bit undercooked, some items missing, and service was a bit slow. The food used to be amazing here, the ingredients still seemed high quality but the preparation and taste wasn't as good as it used to be. The main disappointment was that the rules of the spa have changed and we were unaware we had to book the spa and could only attend at certain times which wouldn't have suited anyway. So we did not get to go to the spa as planned. In previous years this place has been great, hope it gets back there!

Had a pleasant stay. Room was a bit tired bathroom door needed repainting. Food was lovely but took a long time to come. Leisure area was good but had missing tiles around the hydrotherapy pool

Had a great stay but the set up for using spa area and pool is very poor for hotel guests , been going here for 5 years now and always enjoyed using hot tub etc now it’s 2 hr slots Had to book spa day and when time was up tried to pay for another 2 hrs but told fully booked even though place only had 12 people using , will find new place to go next year as only good for 1 night now unless u wish to pay extra £300 for spa day

We found faces on what was apparently a clean towel folded in our room and despite informing staff about it before 9am when we arrived back it was still on the floor after 3pm! Spa was an extra charge pp and is not for anywhere close to adequate access, when we arrived there were already at least 6 adults in a small hot tub. Wifi connection is totally unmanageable we had to hot spot our phones. Decoration is dated and decaying with grout missing in the bathroom and wallpaper peeling off the walls. Horrendous experience particularly when compared to some other 4 star hotels which feel a world apart.

Lovely stay and clean and comfortable room. Shower was great! Spa is so nice and modern, best bit is the outdoor heated pool with views over the Clyde. Dinner was lovely in the Vista restaurant and the whisky bar was nice and sophisticated. Breakfast was the only criticism as they had run out of a lot of continental options when we arrived around 9:30am and the hot food was okay. Overall we had a great stay and would return again.

The most amazing weekend. The staff couldn’t have been better or any more helpful. The food was amazing and the spa just topped any other we have been too. We can’t wait to go back.
