I have stayed at Inglewood Manor many times. The grounds are spectacular and a true "heaven" after a hard day’s work. Rooms are outstanding and clean with firm mattresses that are just right for me. WiFi was OK. However, service this stay was a let down. At check-in, there was an issue with my Expedia VIP voucher. I find it frustrating that Expedia advertises these if the hotel doesn't honor them. I got frustrated because of the principle of being promised something. The staff member eventually offered their own 20% food and drink voucher, but he should have led with that to avoid the frustration. That evening, I wanted to eat on the garden patio. Reception didn't know if I could have restaurant meals there and couldn't be asked to find out, telling me to ask the bar. The young bartender looked at me blankly, said he didn't know, and just pointed out the lounge. When I repeated I wanted to eat outside, he finally said he would find out. I took my drink and waited, but no one ever came back. Since I had my laptop out, I wasn't going to pack everything up to ask again, so I went to bed without dinner. Breakfast was good and staff there were friendly. At check-out, I was told the voucher should have been given to the restaurant. They discounted the drink but not breakfast, claiming it "wasn't at their restaurant." It is not about a measly few pounds, but the principle. I love staying here, but the staff were very hit and miss this time.

We love this hotel. Set in beautiful grounds it is an authentic manor house with lovely old features. The rooms are comfortable and have beautiful views. ( the ones we have stayed in anyway). The food delicious. Staff really helpful.

Lovely Hotel and grounds. One thing we didn't like was being charged 10% on drinks from the bar

Sadly nobody was around to check us in so we were waiting around in the lobby for a while trying to find a member of staff. When somebody finally arrived she was gruff and unwelcoming. The property and grounds are beautiful. The room was very pleasant and comfortable but unfortunately there was zero hot water so both my daughter and I had the joy of a freezing cold shower in the morning. The breakfast was delivered by a very friendly and attentive waitress but unfortunately the beans, bacon and egg were all cold whereas the hash brown and sausage were very hot so I assume the chef left the plate to go cold whilst the other items cooked. Overall I’d be willing to try the place again but we did experience some fundamental issues that did detract from the stay sadly.

On the outside the property looks very beautiful, and set in open beautiful countryside which is a major bonus, However you step inside and you notice the place is very old tired building, rooms were nice enough but needing more attention to cleaning the rooms, as both of our rooms hadn't been cleaned properly, Everything creaks groans and moans, and the noise thru the walls and floor boards from other guests moving around the building can be heard everywhere, upstairs down stairs next door, The hotel it's self isn't too bad, they do the best with the situation their dealt with and the staff are very nice friendly professional and helpful, Breakfast was alright, had better breakfasts in travel lodges days b4 staying here, Overall Rooms were nice but the showers had ran out of hot water, so cold shower in the morning Food, was fine just small portions, Staff were excellent, rooms just needed an extra 10.mins and a final check as their was hairs an dirt an bugs all over the bathroom and window ledges Stairs cases were old wonky and creaky , they were ok for us but some of the other guests very elderly an struggling with the old stair wells, as their is no lifts in the property 5 1/2 out or 10

On arriving, we parked in front of the hotel. There was limited parking at the front, but it also has parking round the side. The entrance hall was quite dark and had a funny smell at first, which later faded. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially May, who served us breakfast. Food and drinks were a bit pricey, but the food was lovely. The room was ok. The window frames have seen better days. It looked like they were rotting. We had a nice view of the grounds, which were lovely. The bed was a bit soft and it was 2 singles pushed together. The stay was ok, but we probably wouldn't return there.

The room was modern, spacious and cosy with a wonderful view of the gorgeous gardens. The bed wasnt very comfortable unfortunately. The building has a lot of character which doesnt feel dated, except the carpet! The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately no heating working in our room which spoilt our stay .Complained in the morning who said she would pass it onto the manager .Clearly there had been a problem with the boiler .Not good enough when outside temperature is 3 degrees .

Everything was lovely, especially the breakfast and evening meal with excellent food and excellent service from the very hard working staff. Our room was very good and the hotel and its grounds are beautiful. Our only suggestion is that the house keeping of rooms could be a bit more careful to remember to wash glasses, replenish water and tissues.

Clean well appointed room, friendly staff, good breakfast. Only downside was the room was hot, no ventilation and could not turn down the radiator.
