Good value hotel. Big rooms for low cost. Great amenities - 3 pools, big gym, great breakfast. Condition is the only issue. It's a little tired, but not bad. I've stayed many times

We stayed here a week ago and it was not good. This time was better. Still disappointed in the spa not working. Bathtub wooden drain. Breakfast was good.

Not many outside areas to walk

The property and facilities were lovely and staff interacted with were kind and helpful. Although room appeared clean, I was concerned upon opening the complimentary items - as previous guest had left empty rappers in box which house keeping had not noticed and removed with new item. Unfortunately you could also hear a lot of noise from next room, I was awoken late at night by fellow guests returning who were very rowdy - noise was so loud it sounded as though it could be in my room which was a little frightening. I did attempt to contact the front desk but the call was not answered so I had to try my best to get back to sleep ahead of an early flight with quite high noise levels up to 1:30/2am in morning.

The stay was good. Too short of time and did not have time to try all the amenities.

The breakfast was everything!!! Place is a bit outdated but the bfast makes up for that!

The restaurant on property pricing was a bit expensive. Spent $50 for one meal for one person. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Hotel is near the airport and good for convenience. Overall it was clean and staff was friendly but rooms are outdated and doesn't look much like the pictures online.

The property is beyond tired. It should be closed down and completely refurbished. The breakfast was far from good. Overall a poor experience. I will not stay there again!

This Hotel Has Gone from VIP to Disgrace 🚫 After 25+ years visiting Costa Rica 🇨🇷 and staying at this hotel many times — often as a VIP guest 💼 with free room upgrades and over $4,000 a year in bookings and referrals — I’ve officially had enough. I will never return. Here’s why you should avoid this place: 🏚️ The hotel is rundown and neglected 🚽 Toilets leak 🛏️ No refrigerators in rooms 🧼 Dirty carpets and stained curtains — unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one near the airport 🍽️ Food is mediocre and absurdly overpriced — $109 for two shrimp pastas and a beer 💸 💳 I was charged $250 for a smoking claim 🚭 with no proof or discussion The management seems new 🤷‍♂️, but honestly, I have no interest in engaging them after this. There are new hotels under construction near SJO ✈️ that already offer better value, service, and cleanliness. ❗Avoid this hotel — it's no longer worth your money or peace of mind.❗

Once a VIP – Now Treated Like a Stranger 😒🚫 I’ve been coming to Costa Rica 🇨🇷 for over 25 years and stayed at this hotel many times. I was always treated like a VIP 💼 — complimentary room upgrades, referrals, and spending over $4,000 a year. But that loyalty clearly means nothing now. The property has gone downhill fast ⬇️: 🚽 Leaky toilets 🚫 No refrigerators in rooms 🏚️ Worn-out infrastructure 🍤 Mediocre food at outrageous prices — two shrimp pastas and a beer cost $109 💸 Then came the worst part: a $250 💳 charge for a smoking claim 🚭 — no proof, no warning, no discussion. Management seemed new 🤷‍♂️ — but frankly, I no longer care. They’ve lost my trust and my business permanently! There are now better hotels near SJO ✈️, including newer properties under construction 🏨🔨 offering real value and service. ❗Avoid this hotel when traveling to Costa Rica.❗

The property is in terrible condition!! Needs a restauration urgently!!
