staff very friendly

We stayed at the Ellison for 3 nights and can not recommend this hotel highly enough. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and a generous size, the location is central with great parking. But above all the staff are absolutely wonderful, we were there last minute for a family funeral and the staff could not have been more accomodating, Patsy especially was so accomodating it made a difficult situation so much easier.

All good, very nice hotel/food is great

Room was perfect, but the icing on the cake was the staff at reception, who were so friendly and great to deal with. Would highly recommend.

We found the overall experience excellent. The room was spacious and well equiped. All staff, from our check-in to the house keeping were helpful and very friendly. The parking facilities were also very good. Will certainly return for a future stay.

Had a lovely one night stay here. Recommend taking a nice walk around the lake in the morning!

Interesting room, close to breakfast. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of items. Hotel right down town, so easy to get around.

Very comfortable convenient hotel. Good location and well priced

Great parking facilities, lots of room. Friendly, informative, efficient and most helpful receptionist, no delay checking in. Bar and waiting staff all appeared well trained and very courteous to the guests. The bedroom was spotless and the bed very comfortable, had a great sleep. The bathroom was very cramped, and found the shower difficult to adjust the water temperature, otherwise best described as adequate. Have stayed in the Ellison before and hope to do so again.

It was a nice hotel

Good experience, only thing I didn’t like was having to give a time for breakfast the night before.

Food was fine.

The staff were excellent on reception, at breakfast, dinner and in the bar, a lovely friendly place to visit and so convenient to all the amenities in town, a very pleasant stay. From a family of 4, teens aged 18 and 15!!

Hotel was lovely. Very handy for hikes in the Croagh Patrick range and on Achill. Very clean, spacious room. Shower wasnt that powerful and my room was facing a scout building - i could hear the traffic from the busy main road as the windows are not sound proof.

Would go back!

Brilliant hotel

The hotel room was very clean and modern. The staff were very pleasant. I recommend staying here.

Excellent staff - very helpful. Restaurant surprisingly good. Bedroom very clean with good linen. Overall, an excellent hotel that is well managed

Nice enough, clean, convenient parking and easy walk to the town centre. Only down side was a busy road with loud cars on a Friday night. No AC so window was open until it was too annoying, then it was a little stuffy. But for amus a nice stopping off point for some touring of Galway, Connemara Loop, and then Northern Ireland the next day. Breakfast was good as well.
