Hotel was fine staff was fantastic. The dinner at the restaurant was ok. Portions were a little on the small size considering the price. The road up to the hotel is challenging to be honest.

I keep coming back here every year, lovely place. Very nice staff, good food and a nice little spa.

Amazing Stefano Family run hotel/spa/restaurant. Upgraded to larger bed. Nice spa facility. Food at restaurant and service were great. Peaceful and serene. Only negative is the sketchy narrow road to the hotel, but some nice overlooks and views.

We were on a month-long road trip in Italy and wanted to avoid big cities and tourists traps. We randomly picked Albergo Moderno for a stay after visiting Milan. The town is small so it was very relaxing and great that excellent food was available at Moderno. We even returned at the end of our trip before returning home via Milan.

A cozy, family-run small hotel in a tiny village up in the Alps. The extra twenty minutes required for climbing up the hill are more than rewarded by the warm hospitality and atmosphere of that location. The restaurant serves home-made local and Italian dishes, with a great variety of wines to accompany it.

From the minute we arrived Hotel were not just welcoming but helped with everything. Timing of meals was good, advice on walks or trips helpful, just nice people,

We have extended our stay at this inn. The rooms are comfortable, the food is great, the owners and staff are friendly and accommodating. The cost is very affordable.

Hotel was great, lovely and friendly staff, shame it's nearly at the top of the mountain, lovely views but the 20 min drive from the main road was an issue, there is a lovely bar and pizzeria a few minutes walk too

I must say that my stay at the Moderno was made by my host. The food was really good cooked well. Stefan made me feel really welcome. The hotel was spotlessly clean to boot. Once you get over the location and the mountain roads. I prayed going up and coming down lol. I used it as a base to go travelling daily and it's very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend

Mountain views remote location away from busy lake areas , very good locally produced food . Clean comfortable rooms .

I loved the Albergo moderno: the staff was very welcoming, the room comfortable and good value for money, the food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic!

Best host ever! We arrived very late at night and found Stefano still up and totally tuned in to what we needed. He prepared a nice plate of meats and cheese and even veg crepe. And a bottle of red wine of course. Albergho Moderno is a great place to stay
