Nice clean property.

there was no hot water until I called down and complained. It was weird.

The room had no phone, hair dryer, iron or working coffee pot. We asked about these things and were ignored. We were attending a family reunion and only booked this room for the space. We also had a photo session at a local studio and could not have the above items to ready ourselves for it. Upon returning each time to the room we had to get a new key as the door would not open and after this were told the lock was broken and we would have to move to another room. By then our family members had made plans to travel back home. I would like an adjustment made to our money for having to move rooms as we still had friends visiting us .

Staff were very kind and overall this was a fine location, but the property was not clean. There was dirt and hair on my sheets, hair in my shower, and the closer I looked at areas around the bathroom, public areas like the gym or elevators, the more dirty things I saw.

The bathroom was very dated and not very clean looking, the property did not smell clean, the shower never had hot water it warm at best. After we got into bed we discovered the side wall to the bed was dirty and smeared with something very visible.

Room smelled like a litter box

Not enough choices for breakfast, doors unlocked so anyone could have just walked in, didn’t feel safe. Called front desk my first night no answer. On morning of checkout rang the front bell no one showed up.

The room was humid the carpet felt humid and the room had a damp smell to it. The beds even felt humid. We were missing towels i tried calling front desk and no answer. Was disappointed considering i usually stay at la Quinta’s on trips.

Room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Room was good. Some minor blemishes, mirror light into, broken minor things. But the worst was roaches. I killed at least 5.

Everything expected of a good hotel with staff ensuring you enjoy your stay.

Didn’t feel clean, sticky not cool even with the AC on 69. Bathtub had rust and the toilet needed to be caulked around the bottom. Beds were not very comfortable and pillows were all flat.

I thought all the bad Motel 6's were gone. Looks like they have all be reincarnated here. Our room was dirty. The extra chair was broken and propped up by a random table. The fire doors on the exit on our floor were broken off of the doors. No one answered the front desk phone so we could inquire about switching rooms. We just hunkered down for the night and left as soon as we woke up - the breakfast was a disaster. Woun'tbe staying here ever again.

Clean quite economical and comfortable. Works perfectly for our visits to Lubbock. Property has gym equipment and swimming pool available along with a decent breakfast. I will definitely stay again for quick weekend trips and would recommend property.

Safe. Cold

There were a couple things that could be improved on, but the cleanliness was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the bed was comfy and much better than most hotel mattresses. We would definitely stay here again especially for the price!!

Hotel is in bad condition

We stayed at La Quinta Inn - North on the night of 9/6/25 while we visited our daughter in college. We were awoken by a thug trying to break into our hotel room on the 3rd floor at 3:00 am. He was trying to jimmy the lock and covering the peep hole. My husband quickly rammed the door to prevent him from coming in. The guy kept attempting to break in. My husband kept saying “you’ve got the wrong room!” But the guy kept at it. He was kicking the door over and over and trying to push the door hard. He never said one word while trying to break in. My daughter called 911 immediately while I was on the phone with the front desk. The clerk was super blasé about it and just asked me if I called the police and then hung up on me after I said yes. The police arrived within 5 minutes and caught the guy but the guy told them he got the wrong room. Yet, why was he covering the peep hole and continued kicking the door even after my husband kept telling him that he had the wrong room?!!! He didn’t leave until he heard the police siren!! We spoke to the manager and he did nothing about it. We have never had any safety issues in any other hotel ever, not even at hotels in Mexico and that’s saying a lot! My 14 year old and 18 year old daughters are completely traumatized by the whole ordeal! Don’t stay at this hotel!

Awful hotel. Dirty and in need of renovation. They gave us a room without a working toilet. When I asked them to fix it they said do you want us to give you a plunger. I said no. They said they don't have maintenance. I asked them to fix it while we left for the game. We returned late at night to find the attendant asleep at his desk and nothing done about the toilet. Also $5 for a soda!
