The Housekeeping Staff are really friendly & hard-working. Please let the Hotel Management knows. All the cleaners never fail to smile & greet. Toilet bowl should upgrade as the poo always get "stuck" due to the bowl shape as it is more like a basin, too "flat".

The location was very good for sightseeing, shopping, and food. Each staff was nice and helpful. The room was relatively small, but it was very comfortable and had everything that I needed. I will stay there again.

This hotel is a walk from the train station and shops/ATMs. The staff were as helpful as they could be but it was a struggle to communicate in English. Hardly any Chinese people could speak English from my experience in China. However they would make the effort by using google translate and even wrote in Chinese for us to give to a taxi driver as they knew would struggle to communicate with the locals. This hotel is very good value for money.

Really happy with our stay here. Very comfortable rooms in a great location close to Metro station and within walking distance of Wenshu monastery. One or two staff could speak English and all staff willing to help to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend a stay here. Great value for money.

Some of the staff came across as unfriendly, and the food for breakfast was what you would expect for the price, overall it was a very good hotel in a very convenient location. The room was Very clean, and the neighborhood around the hotel is convenient for eating, sightseeing, And just walking. This was true especially in the evening.

Having stayed in Jinjiang Inns elsewhere, this one met my expectations of providing a clean, comfortable (if basic) room at a competitive price. The shower was wonderful, the bed wasn't as incredibly hard as many I've experienced in China and there was decent speed WiFi available too. I had one or two issues with the variable English of the reception staff, mainly because it was difficult to judge what would or wouldn't be understood, but they spared little effort in trying to be helpful. There are some excellent little restaurants within a few hundred metres walk of the hotel, albeit none of them know any English so you need to either know what you're doing or point and hope! There's also a metro station 5 minutes walk away, so access to the rest of Chengdu is pretty easy too. All in all, it's a good value option for a decent room in Chengdu.

Great price for a hotel room with a great location and with the basic services. Hotel staff spoke only a little English but still tried to assist us the best they could. Location is Great! Very close to subway station, on the route of many buses and a short taxi ride from the North Railway Station. 30-45 minute ride from the Giant Panda Breeding Base by bus.

It was very difficult to find but it is worth the price despite a really small room. Everything worked including the A/C, internet, shower, etc. It would be difficult to stay for an extended period because of the room size but it's nice to be just a few minutes from People's Square.

Liked the place, the room, the location, bed was a bit hard but standard for China it seems. Breakfast very good for 3 USD...only downside was lack of English spoken, but again pretty standard for China. Arrival via the Wenshu Monastery metro stop quite easy.

Good location with easy access to lots of local quality restaurants and street fare. The only downside was the lack of tourist information (in English anyhow) both at the hotel and in ChengDu generally (Tourist Center was some miles away).

The hotel was good and well presented. Not all of the staff spoke english but they were quite helpful letting us check out 2 hours late. Room was large and clean although there was a strange smell in the lobby at one point but I guess that's china! Location is okay about a 7 minute walk from wenshu monastery station. The monastery itself is very close and the surrounding neighbourhood is bustling with many litre shops and restaurants. Didn't try the restaurant at the hotel but can highly recommend "gongs" just down the road past the intersection opposite the vegan restaurant. Very good food at great price.

This was my 4th JJInn, and Id come to expect basic servise, but this was the lowest I'd found, and I'd expected more as Chengdu is a vibrant city The room and AC worked fine, the breakfast room on the ground floor was next to reception and was noisy, it had the poorest selection of food for western tastes thankfully a chain of western fast food is next door serving pancakes for breakfast :-) The staff had the poorest english of the lot, there was only 1 person who was confident to help me, the others just stared and had no English.
